    I love how you highlighted important points that you don’t find mentioned anywhere, like the trail bifurcation for lake Serapis.

    Thanks so much for this video. We will be in Cortina this October (in a few days!) so it was especially helpful to get an idea of what it looks like in autumn. It seems you were fortunate with the weather -- i.e. no rain. I am hopeful we will also have good weather to hike.

      We hope you have the best time there! Yes we were quite happy with how the weather turned out for us as we’ve had friends visit in September and it snowed!

    Could use trip planning advice. Hope to visit 3 overnight huts, hut to hut, around July 4 2025. Which huts? How to get back to rental car at start point. Google AI suggests start at Passo Falzarego, night 1 at Rifugio Lagazuoi, night 2 at Averau, night 3 at Nuvolau, exit at Passo Giau. Parking ok at start or finish? Bus or Uber from end to start? Thanks for any tips. Love the video!

    Thanks for sharing! How many days would you recommed to say in Cortina d'Ampezzo if you wanted to see the most poplar hikes / views. ?
    And do you recommed to have your own car or just use busses to get to the hikes?

    • @LaurenJason
      @LaurenJason  6 месяцев назад

      We would definitely stay at least 3 nights at a bare minimum with 5 nights being amazing for us! Having your own car does help a lot but if you’re there during the summer you can certainly take the busses!

    Great videos. Thanks. Will be there in 3 weeks. Heard about layers for clothing cause weather changes quickly. Any suggestions?

    • @LaurenJason
      @LaurenJason  Год назад

      For us the most essential piece of clothing was our packable puffer jackets! It’s compact but it keeps you so warm and deals quite well with the wind too. Of course you can layer with base layer or using fleece but for us all we ever needed was that puffer jacket. The weather changes quite a bit with elevation and time of day so we never wanted to layer too much.

    Hey! Great video! Can I ask when (the clock) you got to the start of the tre cime de lavaredo hike? I really want to start the hike early in the morning to see the sunrise. However, I saw that the road up doesn’t open before 8 am. Is this true?

    • @LaurenJason
      @LaurenJason  Год назад

      We got to the road just before 6am! The road is actually open 24 hours but only during high season. The road closures or time of opening is purely based on weather for the fall or spring season. We had 2 friends sit at the bottom of the road for 2+ hours because of icy conditions and didn’t get up there until about 9am.

    • @gjertinelilleskog8076
      @gjertinelilleskog8076 Год назад +1

    • @LaurenJason
      @LaurenJason  Год назад +1

      @@gjertinelilleskog8076 you shouldn’t have any issues during then! Unless some crazy weather conditions decided to hit I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to arrive before sunrise!

    Hi guys! Is there any cellular network coverage in Dolomites?

    • @LaurenJason
      @LaurenJason  2 года назад

      Yes there is! There was rarely a time when we didn’t get cellular coverage. The only time the signal can be lost is in very remote areas.
