- UnintendedMango and I set out to write a song about the voice in Ranboo’s head. But we ended up veering DRASTICALLY from that concept. This was the result, and I couldn’t be more happy with how we decided to change the song.

Dear one, you should know by now what happens when people let me touch their lore/writing/creative projects: they always end up in unplanned places. XD Thanks for letting me work on this with you. I had a lot of fun working on the lyrics with you, and the sound and art turned out beautifully. Excellent work, as usual. I'm going to go listen to this on loop now.

This does not make sense, but writing/singing/hearing this song gave me the same feeling that I got when I finished reading PASSERINE by thcscus. Maybe its because I've recently been rereading it, but there's that.

This absolutely gives Passerine vibes! The song itself is SO good, the tension, the dark/abandoned castle feels, the lyrics and beat: amazing job both of you!

It's really sad how after everything, Tubbo never got any answers or explanations. Ranboo died with his secrets and on bad terms with Tubbo.

The space between makes it so meaningful idk
I like to think that the glass in between tubbo and things he holds dear is a metaphore for something that is just out of your reach. He can see everything he cares about, and yet, he still cant have it.

phew, glad I got here about an hour after it came out. wouldn't want to go too long without knowing about its existence. thanks for creating such a beautiful masterpiece. love the toon that goes so well with it. I agree, I am glad that you guys went this course for the song, so many of the Ranboo songs are about the voice in his head, I feel this makes it more unique and therefore more interesting.

Holy moly, this turned out so good! I’m loving the slightly eerie vibes and haunting lyrics. You guys perfectly captured that feeling of nostalgia and longing for better times. We love our platonic husbands angst
And the references! Allusions to fighting titans, doomsday and snowchester, tubbo portrayed as inscrutable as the memory book, it’s all so well put together!
