Leather Pros are nice bags. I have them on my 20 Street Bob. Easily removable if you don't need them.

Leather pro bags on mine. Love them and no turn signal relocation required.

I definitely agree, 2 : 1 exhaust: Freedom Performance exhaust turn-out, mustache crash bars, Saddlemen Seat Explorer Ls, the lighting front and rear ( what's the name you mentioned by custom dynamic, that one looks awesome) last I would say a fairing.

I decided on the V&H staggered big shots on my 2022 S. Still waiting for them to come in AND doing the break in mileage. So far I have upgraded the turn signal lighting, added a bigger fairing, hand guards, and soft saddlebags. Keep us updated brother! Definitely want to see what you do for a radio. Edit: Oh and a crash bar (which are called flat out bars/engine guards now) they have on the Harley site now.

Hello. I purchased a new '22 FXLRS (Black) on Feb-17-2022. As of Mar-4-2022, my mods/upgrades: Grips (Performance Machine); Black Levers; S&S Slip-on Mufflers (with Cats. Sounds great/looks great/perform great. No remap/retune required, +11hp +6tq); Saddlemen SDC 2-up seat w/Drivers Lumbar Support option & Gel option for passenger portion of seat); HD Flush mount gas cap; and HD Quarter Fairing (Black, matches bike). Also did all the turn signals, converted to LED and added smoked lenses. Future mods planned: RWD Monoshock w/Reservoir & External Adjustment; front suspension (undecided right now). Tom M., Hawthorne Ca. '21 RGS (Snake Venom/Black; S&S 2-1 Sidewinder Exhaust; Stage-2 Rockford Fosgate Audio; more) and the aforementioned '22 FXLRS.

    My suggestions
1- Bassani Road Rage 3. you can add passenger pegs on the lower setting. Higher setting is uncomfortable for passenger.
2- Bungking Highway Peg Crash Bar (Looks and functionality)
    3- Leather Pros EZ-MOUNT RETRO SERIES V3 M8 SOFTAIL
4- Sundowner seat works great I have a short inseam as well. I also have a saddlemen SDC seat.
5- Cardo packtalk bold black limited edition (I wear a mod bandit simpson helmet) perfect fit.

Exactly what I did on exhaust with mine and Bung King crash bar. I love the exhaust, but I'll admit at idle...wish it were louder and loping. I took the advice of my HD parts guy to go with the Bassanis. Maybe Sawicki exhaust down the road.

I bought a complete V&H system in black (Comp 2into1) last year. I'd previously used their chrome slip-on mufflers on my bikes. Unless you like watching the black finish flake off after only 500 miles or so, either go with their chromed products or another manufacturer.

  • @robbyclark6915

    Here’s how I went
    1. Road warrior fairing with windscreen.
Essential for me! Getting blasted in the chest at 80+mph was not fun! Plus it cuts down wind noise drastically.
    2. 1finger clutch
You know why. Actually the stock isn’t that bad on my ‘21 FXLRS but I already had a 1finger clutch from my iron 883 and it worked perfectly on the new bike!
    3. A little luggage rack (or whatever it’s called?)
Sits behind the seat and protects the fender when you add a sissy bar and bag.
    4. Sissy bar
Multiple reasons. Mostly to carry stuff.
    5. EBS (external breather system)
This could probably be number 1 on my list because of importance to me and the health of my bike! I made my own with less than $20 worth of parts from Lowe’s and Ace Hardware. Some 1/4” fuel line, a tee, and that’s all I’ve used so far! I didn’t even put a catch can on mine. Yet. Mine is actually just temporary until I get the breather I want and then I’ll put something 💯 permanent in place. But the EBS is so important that I had to have something in place even if it’s just temporary.

    • @robbyclark6915
      @robbyclark6915 2 года назад +1

@@jamestuite3833 I had to go with the Harley quick release stuff. Not my favorite but it was in stock and I didn’t have to wait for months. Bought the black docking hardware $50ish, the standard sissy bar $250ish, and the pad $80ish, plus tax, $365 or so. Works great, just wish it was taller and not a huge fan of the styling. Dean speed, has a really cool bar for the FXLRS, but it takes like 8 weeks to get from what I’ve seen. But it’s a sweet looking bar if you don’t mind waiting.
