BOMB ALARM AT ANCONA RAILWAY STATION! - FRECCIABIANCA, INTERCITY AND REGIONAL ENDS IN FALCONARA!!

Regional and Regional Veloci trains were canceled between Falconara and Ancona and between Ancona and Varano, while all long-distance trains (InterCity and Frecciabianca) were limited to Falconara, Loreto, Civitanova and Pescara; in fact, the Ancona station was declared unfit and closed to the public.

This "BOMBA-DAY" calvary began exactly on October 17, 2018, with the discovery of the bomb dating back to World War II (a British model plane bomb 'MkIGB' weighing 250 pounds containing 31 kg of explosive) in the Archi area, during the dismantling excavations of the former Ancona Marittima station.
