I wanted this camera badly when it came out, but it was way too expensive so i waited and bought a new E-300 with battery grip instead - still have it. Your EU40 was an amazing deal - i paid 220 for a body only a few months ago, but that was also an amazing deal because its shutter count read 0000000029. Love this thing. The batteries are a good design and the camera isn't power-hungry, but 20 years old is a very old battery. Wasabi Power do a good replacement for about US$15. Have fun and all the best. Cheers.
Thx. Beautiful pics 👍 Take good care of that camera, it's a jewel. I was a little afraid seeing you and the cam, on that bike 😰. I will take mine out of the shell, this weekend, and take some shots...
I was lucky enough to be able to acquire a cheap copy of the Leica digilux 3, with its kit lens. The lens has image stabilization and is a dream combo with olyE1. Very beautiful, almost mother-of-pearl-like colors... Otherwise, I have used the zuiko 50mm f2. - But unfortunately I use the camera far too little...
Stellar files and because I'm professional photographer in 2024 again I use it: chapeau!

You got some nice shots. That looks like a fun camera and a bargain at 40. What did you use to edit the RAWs?
I like to use LR and yeah it's a bargain despite the crack in the top lcd plastic.
@@too_many_cameras thank you.

What kind of lenses do you use with yours?

It's a downside of having way too many cameras. No time to use them all no matter how nice they are.
can you make some wildlife photo again please?
I will do some this weekend or next week. I plan to use a Jupiter 200mm f/4 on this Olympus E-1 camera. Thanks for watching
