try cutting the apples and put in to salt water before freezing, once defrosted use straight away :)

I've never tried putting them in salt water, I've always used lemon water. I'll have to give the salt water a go, thank you 😊

Yes it looks really nice, I'm going to have to try some more sweet things in the air fryer, I don't know whether I told you I made an ever pudding and it was a disaster. I have a small kitchen the same as you, so what I do now is I put a towel over my hob and I have a large chopping board which I put on top of the towel then I stand the air fryer or slow cooker on there. I have a socket next to the hob so it plugs in easy. Anyway a lovely video

I've not attempted anything involving sponge yet, but it's on the horizon. 😊
I don't know whether I could put mine on my cooker top as I haven't got a chopping board big enough, only the flexible plastic type which wouldn't hold it. (Something else to put on my shopping list! Lol).

Looks delicious and I noticed the apples had gone white again when cooked. I made rhubarb crumble in my Ninja 9in1

      It was really tasty! 😊
Yes when cooking the apples tend to go back to their original colour. It's all very scientific, to to with oxygen causing enzymes when the skin is broken. However heating the apples, as when cooking, deactivates the enzymes bringing them back to their original colour. Although they don't look very appetising when they're brown, they're perfectly safe to eat.
Rhubarb Crumble sounds nice! My rhubarb is just begining to grow, I can't wait until its ready! 😊
      Thank you for watching.

Hi again Maria I'm still watching catching up with ya vids, just a question, do you have to Blanche apples before freezing? We have some friends who have an allotment and get a glut of apples with which we benefit. I have never frozen any but I think I'll give it go. Thanks for this video Maria. 😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

My Ninja instructions say do not use an extension cord

Mines a Tefal. It doesn't mention extension cords in my manual, but I'm back in my kitchen with it plugged into my main socket now so all should be good 😊

Yours are the only recipes I follow, I'm using my air fryer so much I'm thinking of getting a bigger one and I life alone lol. I love your videoes. Have you done spag bol? I'm afraid to try it 😂 will any eating apples do? I hate cooking apples and wondered if you could use eating apples, Mrs Ricgardson to the rescue again. Your garden sounds amazing would you do a walk around to show us?

      Thank you.
I like the look of the two drawer ones, but I haven't got the space for a bigger one, I struggle with the one I have as it's quite big.
I've never done spaghetti bolognese as no one eats it in our house. A bit daft really as they'll eat pasta bake and to me that's quite similar.
I use any eating apples. It's better than cooking apples because you don't need all the sugar like you would to sweeten a cooking apple.
I take part in a garden collaboration once a month (usually the last week) where I do a garden tour. I advertise it on my homeschool vlogs as other homeschool mums take part in the collaboration. I will have to start advertising it on my cooking vlogs too.

Hi I read you shouldn’t use glass or Pyrex anyone got any views.

I've not heard this. Is it connected with using in the air fryer, or for cooking in general?

    • @trishrobinson5133
      @trishrobinson5133 Месяц назад

Just in the air fryer but I also read you can use any dish etc that you can use in an oven so I’m a bit confused 🤷‍♀️

@@trishrobinson5133 I mainly use pyrex dishes and so far so good. I'll have to see if I can find any info on it in case it's something unhealthy. Thank you for telling me.
