- I know, I know - but then you probably don't need all those new clothes either! These are things that bring pleasure and I just love the supergranulating colours by Schmincke. Turns out I am a marketing man's dream as I love everything about these colours - the packaging, the tubes, the tins, the boxes...and most of all I love the way they granulate and dry to such pretty colours. I also love how you can't go bright or garish with them, even though I love bright colours too!
Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button - or don't, because I am definitely going to make you poorer...!
But you can make up for it by becoming a member of my sketching community, because with sketching as your right-hand-man you will spend less on all the other things that tempt your wallet...and you will have creative fun and enormous satisfaction in the process.
I know...because that's what it's done for me, and all my lovely sketchers around the world.

I love both paintings, thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you!
Stop it! Stop it now! No more of these videos about super cool granulating money pits. I bought the urban sketcher set of five, based upon your recommendation. And I'm just starting to play with them. Do you get kick backs? My wife is going to cut me off if Amazon shows at my door again in the next week or two. I like the sketch with the granulating watercolors best. Cheers!
So sorry Lance! No I don’t get any kick backs and I SO should! But equally if I think something they do isn’t great I’ll talk about that too…in this case I’m splitting the cost by preparing a set for a friend but still…It’s an indulgence!
New subscriber from America referred by Diane Antone Studio. Absolutely loved this. Now to binge watch your other offerings. Susan
Thank you and welcome! Enjoy!
Love it! Every time you post new paints I run out and buy them. I noticed you were using blue ink at the end- what color blue was that ink?
Did I not write it? I meant to. It’s Marlene by R&K.
Just checked Cindy…It’s written in the video at the end of the show. That’s where I always include the kit used, so it’s worth sticking around to the end!
Oh dear, more expense coming up.........
They really hit it right with these though!
😊 Deep Sea set on its way. Glacier set will be next. What size book are you using? Thank you.
That’s an A6 for the swatching Mark. A5 for the drawings though.
I love them. The whole uncontrollability of them is cool. I’ve 12 and I have space for eight more. So I’ve some choosing to do 😂
Geraldine, I can’t get enough of them! Which is odd when you have as many tubes as I do…can’t wait to get out now the weather is improving!
I love both painting, thank you for sharing.
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I cannot resist buying paint either!! Prob better than buying candy but I do that too. Drat!
Always better than candy! lol
I like both paintings very much, but I think the second one is my favorite of the two. Thanks for sharing, this was fun! ♥
Thanks Christie! In my memory the brighter one was better than it was in reality!! Lol
That Forest Brown looks green on my screen. And you know what, glaciers are sometimes blue, reflecting the sky and water, I suppose. I love your canisters and these paints. Am about to hit order on another set (or two).
It’s totally green Jane! But who are we to disagree with the Family? Lol! I do spend too much on paints but I’m not in my mother’s league yet (I hope she laughs if she reads this!)
Well, that’s good to know. It’s a pretty green. I’m not confessing to how much I’ve spent on paint! Hahaha
