That chad and Curtis story is so disturbing and just adds to more reasons why I dislike people. 1. Everyone knows not to text during a movie. 2. Who texts a three years old who can probably not even read. 3. Why not just silence your phone and dim the brightness to be considerate? 4. What sane person former cop/military or not brings a gun to a MOVIE?! I get having it in the car but inside a theater? No. 5 why couldn’t he just chill enough to let the guy text his daughter of that’s what he was doing. The movie hadn’t even actually started just the previews. 6. Why are ppl so trigger happy when h th et can simply reveal the weapon to scare someone?
@gardenfairybabe wow so in ur mind throwing a bag of popcorn warrants getting shot? Okay. How about all the times people get beers poured on their heads at bars? They should shoot the guy? A bag of popcorn is no threat and causes no injury. It doesn't even warrant a punch let alone death.

I think that, blood letting, sounds so dumb. And when the few individuals that I've heard use that term today when referring to when nurses are drawing blood, smfh, its one thing that seriously irks me.

Curtis Reeve’s court case just now finished. Nearly 10 years after he shot Chad Olsen in that theater. I’m a local of that area so I followed it. He was found not guilty. It doesn’t get any more ridiculous than that.
It's rare that something creepy occurs in the theatre. It's best if you go to the cinemas where there is alot of people instead of less people cause its more creepy if there's hardly any people
@@mohammedusmanmufti5311 There are other reasons besides these stories as to why I don't go to theaters or cinemas as they are not always as clean as I would like and you can't necessarily bring your own snacks you have to buy their often overpriced snacks or drinks if you want to snack or drink anything while in the theater.

Because of all the movie theatre shootings, there was three years of my life where I didn’t step foot inside of one. Story number five resonated with me the most, especially the “I knew it!” that he was thinking. That said, it’s my favorite story now 😂😂
The fifth story was insane. I'm not being sadistic. But what would happen if that Joker copycat used a real revolver and massacred all of you inside there. Pure bloodshed in a theater. Sick.
Not with a revolver he wouldn't have. Also, shooting into a dark movie theater with such a small number of bullets, it's more likely he'll miss more than he'll hit.
Whoah I just got home from seeing Snake Eyes in the movie theater right now and once home turned off the airplane mode this was the First notification.... Really!?!
That dude in theatre reminds me of that dude from charlie's angels movie, the one that kept snapping people's hairs and smelling it. This dude though, overtime, he escaladed from being an observer, to being the main participant, of his creepy mind games. Lowkey reminds me of Hannibal too, but not that much similarity. (The Mads Mikkelsen tv series, not the movie ones). But ofc (Mads') Hannibal was a cannibal with class and courtesy.
Your accent seem to go quasi-cockney when you were doing voices for that second story in London. I dunno if that was deliberate, geezer. It was a right nasty story anyway. Mucky mate, mucky.

I listen to true crime stories all the time but that one definitely evoked something in me. I guess like I said just the trivialness and pointlessness of it all :/
@@WhoCutTheCarrot I totally agree, I watch/listen to a lot of true crime as well and that was a really tough story to listen to. Just the absolute definition of unnecessary. I think the reactions in the comments go to show how much emotion that particular story brought out in people
Hey Joel, I just discovered your channel and have been Bing watching all your videos and I have to say that you voice is unbelievably soothing and your content is amazing. You have a true talent in narration of all types of content and topics. You really have made me a believer of the horrid things out there. Please continue doing what you are doing. You are the best at what you do. Thank you for all the amazing content. I have been telling all those that I know would enjoy your type of content and that hopefully may of resulted in some subscribers on your channel. You truly have an amazing talent in story telling and your voice certainly help in visualizing the stories you narrate. Awe, I hope you get well soon!
I get sick more in the summer than I do the winter... I think it's because I actually get out more. 🤷♀️ sending u healing vibes!😊
Hope you get well soon.
@@tommiegirl2598 summer is the best season in my opinion
Never pour popcorn over anyone's head. Lesson learned.
7. Why would an adult throw a full bag of popcorn on someone’s head and jump at them and their wife if they didn’t want to escalate the altercation?
Myby curtis should have gotten his noes in someone's bissnes
@gardenfairybabe wow so in ur mind throwing a bag of popcorn warrants getting shot? Okay. How about all the times people get beers poured on their heads at bars? They should shoot the guy? A bag of popcorn is no threat and causes no injury. It doesn't even warrant a punch let alone death.
The 1st story bone chilling 🥶🥶
His voice is so soothing!!! Every time I listen to him
I think of Ursula from the Little Mermaid, when she says, What I want from you is.....YOUR VOICE!😄🖤
Aerial "my voice" 😭😭
Thumbs up before it even starts. He never lets me down.
This made me remember the time some dude acted like he was going to stab my dad with a syringe, I think it messed with my head a lot more than his, anything could have been in that thing.
That's crazy, did he run away or something?
@@LuisAngel-mu4zv No, he just stood there then walked away. I may not remember the event entirely, it was 1979 and I was almost 11 years old. My dad somehow dodged the guy and who knows, maybe my presence made him think twice, I don't think he saw me until after he saw my dad because I was on the other side and there were lots of people around. Dude looked freaked out, probably not in full control of himself, like he was somewhat shocked by his own actions but again, this is through the eyes of a very precocious but very young me during my first visit to a NYC underground subway shopping area.
@@0therun1t21i could imagine the whole scenario and yeah maybe you accidentally saved your dad, theres alot of people that kinda back of when they see kids, still doesn't make it any less intense or scary, especially if its a childhood memory
@@LuisAngel-mu4zv Thank you, fortunately my dad's reaction was so mild that it didn't really traumatize me, and nothing bad actually happened. I mostly wanted to tell people that this kind of thing does happen occasionally, the world can be a strange place.
Hey Let's Read! Love your content. You keep me entertained when I'm cooking, drawing or doing household chores. Thanks for posting another awesome video.
Story 2. Man I'd KILL to work in that grindhouse theatre man. The "Goremine" I love it! I love for those kinds of films. Not just the anime ones but the others too. Violence Jack is one of my all time favorites from Japanese anime though.
That’s disturbing . Seek mental help man

Oh perfect timing 😍 get my Joel fix just in time to get home and his soothing voice in the tub!👍💯💕
I’ve never been this early. But :) ily. You’re my top fav channel. ! Keep going. Your vids are amazing
Oml, did the guy in the first story say, "That freaky new TRON movie"??? I literally had a heart attack Jesus. I love that movie and franchise so much. My heart literally skipped a beat
Thanks for making my night 😃
Papa Joel, your ability to guess my nap schedule is down right scary.👀 Another great upload, to lull me to sleep.🙌🏻
Always lovin' it! Thank you Let's Read ❤️
Love your vids. Keep up the good work and have a nice day.
I've been missing going to the theaters, but maybe watching at home is better and safer :)
bro this is so weird!!! i work at a movie theatres to!! and literally all of my coworkers have told me the theatre was haunted and it wasnt just a company joke, i havent really seen anything yet beside a friend claiming a chair moved, seeing a chair move out of the corner of my eye and getting the feeling im being watched when im cleaning the theater rooms-
Yes I'm so excited!!
This channel has kept me entertained during a 10-hour drive thank you
I think that, blood letting, sounds so dumb. And when the few individuals that I've heard use that term today when referring to when nurses are drawing blood, smfh, its one thing that seriously irks me.
I’m so stoked to listen to this on my way to work!
Perfect. Now I can listen on my way to work ♥️
Love you Let's Read! 😊😎
Its 4:42 am and i was about to fall asleep. 😀❤️
Screw listening to these to sleep I'm gonna listen to these to stay awake!
Bruh... I was born two years after the year Story 1 happened!!! Wow 😳 I can only imagine times in the early 80s and late 70s with the HIV/AIDS thing 💔💔💔💔💔💔
Curtis Reeve’s court case just now finished. Nearly 10 years after he shot Chad Olsen in that theater. I’m a local of that area so I followed it. He was found not guilty. It doesn’t get any more ridiculous than that.
Never been this early😂 made my Friday
Atleast I’m not the only one coming here when it’s time to sleep🤣❤️
It's stories like these as to why I don't go to movie theaters any more.
These are really good stories. Thank you.
Watching jeopardy n now im gonna listen to this...
Thank u joel!..💞💞👊👊
Hat man found this and is for sure beating it rn
The story telling is always fab, but the accents are amazing 😂😂
The man in the hat one omg 😂😂😵😵
Totally enjoyed listening. Although the stories are tragic😥
Thanks Joel was epic as always 🥰
HIS BRITISH ACCENT IS GETTING BETTER GUYS 🤩
It actually made me laugh when I heard it, I love hearing other nationalities trying our accent hah
I’ve never been this early lol
@Yeonjunnie ! seonghwa from ATEEZ!!
@Yeonjunnie ! THEY ARE THE BEST 🥺❤️ YOURE going to love them and WELCOME TO THE FANDOM !!
I’m a lead in a movie theater, often closing for the night. I’m excited to listen on shift
Always the best part of my day is seeing your uploads!!!! I listen every night in my insomnia too 🤗
“Super sub super dom if you know what I mean”
Yea dude, I get it, he clapped them cheeks.
Nice!
i listen to these stories while pole dancing and its truly next level
I'm a nurse in a home fore homeless, so the HIV story didn't shock e so much, what got me was story Nr. 3 😢 it reminded me of my ex who groomed me, and tough he never forced me to whatch that kind of gore... it triggered me so much... there where some parallels that really made me rethink this time 😬😬😬 poor boy 😭 e must have felt horrible... I can relate with him on a level of "overstepping my own boundaries" so much....
Couple gets a gun pointed at them but the person telling story not being able to see the movie was more important? 😂 ok
You would think the theatre would restart the dang movie.,
Listening to these remind of American Werewolf in London, there's a mad dog in the theater!!!!! Good lord man is nowhere safe?!?!?!!
3:12 when he said that it resonated with me and i could feel it in my soul
Because of all the movie theatre shootings, there was three years of my life where I didn’t step foot inside of one. Story number five resonated with me the most, especially the “I knew it!” that he was thinking.
That said, it’s my favorite story now 😂😂
Second I love your videos so much listen to them while I work 💋💋❤️❤️❤️❤️
The HIV story was so creepy . I would of been scared myself wow . I like your stories . !!!
Love you RUclipsJoel!💙💗💙
The fifth story was insane. I'm not being sadistic. But what would happen if that Joker copycat used a real revolver and massacred all of you inside there. Pure bloodshed in a theater. Sick.
It's just a prank bro!
Not with a revolver he wouldn't have. Also, shooting into a dark movie theater with such a small number of bullets, it's more likely he'll miss more than he'll hit.
Well at least no one got harmed in there. By God's grace everyone is safe.
Whoah I just got home from seeing Snake Eyes in the movie theater right now and once home turned off the airplane mode this was the First notification.... Really!?!
I can't imagine a movie theater in new York in the 80s, would be so nuts.
Me: *sees a let’s read video* “yep it’s nap/bed time”
That dude in theatre reminds me of that dude from charlie's angels movie, the one that kept snapping people's hairs and smelling it.
So. Sad. No. One. Should. Not. Carry.
A. Concealed weapon in. A. Movie
Theater. That. Man had. Lost. His. Mind
Not the last one surprising me by being my hometown 🥲
The term is "few and far between"... Not "far and few between"
Lmao I laughed so hard at story 5
Popcorn butter lmao daddy chill
I love the way he intensifies his voice while narrating twist in the story.
Your accent seem to go quasi-cockney when you were doing voices for that second story in London. I dunno if that was deliberate, geezer. It was a right nasty story anyway. Mucky mate, mucky.
HEY ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I CAUGHT YOU ... SO TIMING MY FRIEND & I SHALL BE WASHING DISHES ( YAY 🙄 ) AS I LISTEN … THANK YOU ❣️💯
That English accent got me 😂
The Third Story must be Lost Media
I have a movie theatre horror story: I went alone one time cuz I didn’t want to bother my brothers, and on the way back some rich kids jumped me, anyway later on my friend killed one of them
