You can't replace the radio with one from another car. The radio is link with your chassis number. A replacement could make your trip computer too go wonky. Could also affect the ecu.
Maybe ask a Vauxhall dealer about the radio? Is it a 120 or a 150, gonna get it remapped.? Iv got a 58 plate 1,8 vvc sri, had her two years done 35000 miles, spent £4000 on her, love the car to bits.👍
The vauxhall dealer wouldn't help with the radio aspect I've learned that the dab signal has been changed and as a result there isn't actually a problem with the radio just the signal being supplied to it so not much I can do. In regards to 120 or a 150 mine is a 120 and I don't know what the difference would be between them. The remap idea would only be something I would consider if I could make it more eco as fuel consumption is a key factor for me and as a result I will be getting it ready to sell soon and a smaller car to replace it. I love the car it's just not ideal for the purpose that I need it for unfortunately.

Yep it turns out the contacts on the bulb itself was a little corroded so the car thought it had failed even tho it was still working. So a nice new bulb and the car was happy again.

Swap it for a CD70 nav radio, it’s the dealer option sat nav. Everything work the same has colour screen

You can get dab transister on ebay it will pick up one the channels. if you dont want to take the radio out

Not really I know the dab module in the radio is crap but I didn't have the car long enough really to get too many problems if I'm honest.
Did the light warning go off?
