I just bought one. Thanks Todd for the overview. I get more out of listening and watching someone that is knowlegeable explain the features than I do reading the manual.
That’s because the instructions are so small that no one can read it!
I'm usually not fan of too many things coming out of China but this has been a great tool.. I've had it for several years without issue. I've used it on Mitsubishi 3000GT, Nissan cube, Nissan versa, Jeep Wrangler JLU 2018, 2021 RAM warlock and many other vehicles.

Todd, excellent review of the ODB Ancel scan tool. Cheap awsome, spend a few busks! Know whats wrong quickly before your mechanic knows.. dont tell mechanic - I love it.

I bought this reader and it was very easy to read and gave me information on the go and let me know if It's something I should fix before continuing my drive or okay to travel on until I can fix the problem. Loved this unit, then someone stole it out of my truck and only a few so called friends knew where I stored it. Yep, I know who I can trust now, no longer a friend. He can fix his own junk now.

Dude thank you for the review haha, I just bought a new car, but my old one I'm still using for the moment just got a code that says my catalytic converter is faulty & the absorption efficiency is below threshold bank 1 😮💨🤦🏾♂️

Can this help you turn off the check engine/ service/ oil lights?? Notice there's an option to erase codes, but curious whether that extends to service etc.

At 7:25 it shows Readiness supported =6 and Readiness complete =5, which confirmed what he said earlier about one of his systems needs more time to digest info.

Hi Adam, thanks for watching! Yes it can erase the trouble codes in your vehicles computer which will turn off the check engine light. However if the core issue isn't resolved the check engine light will most likely come back on within a few drives. Have a good weekend!

took my car to autozone to check the IM readiness they said they couldnt i sit there and looked at their scanner and it had it on there as an option.. i was like seriously.. then he proceeded to tell me my car had 4 fault codes i never even heard of related to brake switch/ecm/etc/abs.... funny the dealership just had my car and the inspection place just had it.. there were no codes etc in the system brakes abs work fine.. also the guy plugged it in then started the car i thought you werent supposed to start the car..
I have one of these, I have an abs light on and traction control but this gadget says I have no codes
How do we see erased codes?
Connect with key off? Then turn key to on position, not starting motor?
Hi thanks for watching, yes connect the OBD2 Code Reader with the car off, then turn your car to the on position but no need to start the car up for most of the features.
What about friend, a question, this one is also used to erase codes or only to detect them. Thanks

I have a question, the car has to be in the “on” position but what about if you have a car with “start/stop” button
Manual says connect with key off and then to turn the ignition on or start the engine.

Component#11 and #21 are what say fail but not any other info but min and max with some numbers and the book says hardly nothing about on board monitoring cant find anything on the Internet either

Why can't you show us a little bit more like the oxygen sensor the O2 sensor you can show us a graph of that and a good or a bad one and then you can store some of the sensor data about the fuel trim that's a good one explain that to us a little bit show us a little bit of a graph
