When it's time for modification I tune by ear. As a performing artist it landed on C standard six string Giganez. Moved to A flat standard RG 7 fanned fret. Settled at A standard to finish the album. Then took the high string off and found myself at G standard. This gives me the C standard I was used to and the Baritone G spot sound that I have been craving. I see no further adjustment needed.
@@flywayen2135 it's definitely a baritone tuning. this would be - and is - quite tight on my 27 inch scale length 8 string. so either play it on a 6, 7, or on a 9 string on the top 7 strings with the bottom 2 dropped.
F# sounds good when used correctly, like Messugah for example, and bongripper as well Oh yeah, and most djent bands too, yes I know, djent is not for everybody, but you gotta admit, with those insane ass rhythms, it's fucking incredible
i agree with this but only on the extent of the bass guitar. low G is on the limit of listenable for, anything below it is too low. Laugh Track by Knocked loose use Drop G tuning on the basse and its barely audible
Vildhjarta - shadow (the tuning looked weird so I wanted to make sure it was g standard lol)
xddddddd same here

I wonder what Korn would sound like if they played in G standard
dude this is a 10 string guitar tuning half step down
They would sound one step lower, easy lol

Standard Descontralto Guitar Tuning
The lowest tuning you can get until everything starts sounding bad when you tune a half step lower to F# lol
