Dear friend, I had a couple of those inside threads fall out of place but was able to use a chopstick to line them back up and then started that bolt first to make sure I recaptured it. I hope it worked out for you apologies for taking so long to get back to you appreciate your time hope you enjoy- Forrest
I am having a heck of a time with one of the rear passenger bolts. There is evidently a plate opposite side of the bolts which moves and then it won't lineup so as to get a bite on the bolt... I have tried every which way to line the plate up but that one bolt simply doesn't want to go in... Did you have any issues with that back plate at all? (great video by the way - thanks!!)
Thanks for the video, you mentioned you are 6'5" how do you deal with the center rear view mirror on your way when you are driving? Creates a huge blind spot on the right and I haven't found a solution. Thanks in advance
Dear friend, thank you for taking the time and bringing this to my attention. Honestly I’ve never even thought about it until now. This is starting to bother me. Ha. I will continue to think about it every time I am driving thank you. Hee hee. I took a couple pictures from my eye level to post but do not know how to do so. Now that you mention it my YJ and TJ are honestly even worse since they aren’t as wide. The JL definitely has the Blindspot just more to the right as you mentioned. If I did more city driving I think this would definitely be more of a concern. I. E. Pedestrians and bicyclists etc. I’m going to be worrying about deer jumping right out of that spot ha ha. But seriously you could’ve just save me from such a scenario I appreciate it. It seems like it could go a couple inches higher if you figured out a way to delete or relocate the assist and SOS button built-in to the arm above it which really seems like a chore. This is something I will be thinking about And get back to you. Thank you for taking the time and Drive safely.
Dear friend, Thank you for taking the time, I appreciate your question. order till delivery was about one month And well worth the wait. It has been an absolutely solid rack with 130 pound RTT and 70 pound awning attached always, Usually have a couple 16 foot 40 pound sailboards on top as well. When tent is deployed my wife two kids two dogs and I add another 500 pound static load. Many highway miles as well over 1000 off road miles no movement, Solid as first day of install. I would definitely suggest this rack to anybody and would absolutely buy again. I Really appreciate your time And would like to know what you end up going with. enjoy the meantime - Forrest
Good point on the mirror being in the way. I was debating just a back set and as soon as you said that I was convinced.
You are my hero! Got these and heard horror stories about taking those bolts out. Your video is so detailed, I can do this! Thanks!!!

Good video. How long from order to delivery for the Gobi? Are you happy with it so far?
