That's a great idea. This effort seems to make up for the short falls in the governments invitation to the diaspora to come back home .They have an office somewhere in Accra and I think they should have first taken that initiative but once your chief has taken that initiative to fill the missing link the better. Please get in touch with them . Most our brothers from the diaspora have been duped in their effort to secure land and they are sending negative signals all over. I think you effort is a good one cos I know investors from the diaspora are keeping a keen watch and may soon follow up with some big investment if things work just fine. Keep it up.
Shalom, Thank you for this content. I've been trying to find out more about the land. I'm in the USA and plan to move to continent. Would it be allowed to farm on land?
Yes, built there are allocated lands for that. From my learning there is the commercial side and the residential but if you are referring to some backyard garden that should be very fine
What about the fact Ghana only allows the Diasporans to lease land for 50 years , then you must renew the lease, is that the same for land given free by the tribal chief, or do you own the freehold😮😮😮😮😮😮
That $1,200 is paid to the Government of Ghana at the Lands Department for paperwork, not to the Chief of Asebu. The Government policy requires documentation for each and every piece of land acquired in the country. The Ghana Government itself does not own any land in Ghana.
$1200 for the cost of surveyors, lawyers, documentation, lands dept processing etc. Plus ALL THE HASSLE of travelling to and fro with the accompanying STRESS. I would pay double this amount for somebody else to take the stress and go through the hassle whilst I sit in my lounge in the US. Some American don't understand this. They've never acquired land in their lives. The Asebu land is FREE. You just pay somebody else to do the donkey work of handling officials and professionals to secure it, document it and get you legal title. I would charge $5000 to do that donkey work.
@@bowgate3817 Don't mind them. Some African Americans and other Diasporans feel like they're entitled to everything on the continent for free. How many of us already living on the continent have any free land?
@@bowgate3817 I paid half that amount for the same services in Asebu, yes I have land there....I also have land in Accra. Trust me, that land is NOT FREE.. the land is beautiful, but it is not free...you have to stop saying that.
Another w video… loved it
Thanks brother, been a while you dropped i’m anticipating

Be careful with these headlines. Ppl read the fine print, its not that straightforward.
Noted bro ❤️
If people pay $1200 then it’s not free
