Ah the 'disco' years - or at least as close as ABBA got. La question c'est voulez-vous - French for 'The question is, do you want to..?" Voo-lay - voo!
Love me some disco aBBA. The Voulez Vous album is right up there as the best and there are several Disco bangers on it. As good as new, Angel eyes, if it wasn't for the nights, kisses of fire and of course Voulez Vous but there was also Summer night city which didn't make the original album One of my favourite ABBA tracks is "Lay all your love one me" but that is more of a Dance track and came later.
"That's my new favorite!" with a speech bubble from a cartoon image of you with headphones on and a huge happy smile would look good on a t-shirt! And perhaps like with notes all around you.

Written during a writing session in the Bahamas. They recorded the backing track at Criteria Studios in Miami with members of the disco group Foxy. The only Abba song apart from live songs recorded outside of Sweden.
And those backing vocal arramgements and harmonies are so tight, complicated and so perfectly crafted.Such a lush production.A sparkling funky-disco rock anthem made by ABBA.
Chase, you continue to be one of my favorite music reactors. Your energy is infectious. It's so nice to see someone your age being open to learning about music from previous generations. Good music, as you can see, stands the test of time.... and ABBA is as classic as it gets. Keep it up! Congrats on your continued success.
Yout first French lesson! And from 4 Swedes! 🙂 I was thinking earlier about why you're enjoying all the Abba songs, and I think it's not just the great songs and the great performances, but another thing is the great production on all of their songs. At the time, in the 70s and 80s, a lot of people were down on Abba because they were so 'polished'. but that's why they still sound so good after 40-50 years, they're like diamonds, they're forever.
Excactly!U can't imagine how we older fans suffered from such critical voices. But now we have the last laugh.Abba was what s fiew open minded quoting at the time .A 'phenomenon" !
@@christianoazzuro6711 In a month or 2 it will be 50 years since I was sitting in front of the Eurovision that night seeing ABBA for the first time, they had me with a hook in my throat straight away. I never got away, I was more convinced of their genius with every album, despite what my pals at school said. This was what all ABBA fans had to put up with, until Muriel's Wedding (the movie) made them uber-cool... then, I kid you not, sometime around the turn of the century, I was standing in my kitchen at a very drunken party with some other middle-aged men, and every one of us knew all the words to every ABBA song, we sang them all to each other that night, it was glorious. Never believe anyone who tells you they're not an ABBA fan, it just means they haven't heard them yet.
Vouslez-Vous pronounced like Voo-Lay-Voo T-shirts with your face with a word bubble and the words Beautiful!, Amazing! AND Crazy! all three. (an idea) TY for the entertainment.
I really like your videos, I've been into ABBA since I was twelve years old, today I'm fifty. I'm your newest subscriber, I'm Brazilian and you're so cute, congratulations on the channel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"That is my new favorite" is something you often say, and I think, well suited for a t-shirt. Though I myself have more t-shirts than I know what to do with, so I will not be buying regardless.
Awesome reaction Chase, and great pronunciation on their Swedish names - you've arrived! The song "Voulez Vous" is a French phrase pronounced "Voo-layVoo" meaning "do you want to" with the insinuation of a possible hookup - but very ABBA P.G. rated. 😊
Wow is my favourite ABBA tune...thank you so much for listen us!!!...recommend you react to "Lovers (lives to little longer)" and "Elanie" catchy disco ABBA songs too
Chase, you showcase all music genres from all decades. Keep up the good work. Voolayvoo is how to pronounce it! Glad you're enjoying the Abba journey. 😊 👍
Another great reaction. Please please react to Crazy World My Mamma Said Disillusion Bang a Boomerang Love isn’t Easy I’m still Alive (All ABBA of course)
"I'm Still Alive" is not properly an ABBA song. It was composed and sung by Agnetha alone. So it should be attributed to her precious solo career. However it was performed by her during the historic ABBA concert at the Wembley Arena, London in 1979; and she also played piano while singing. "Disillusion" also was composed by her. Probably the only one ABBA song not composed by Benny, with lyrics added by Björn. It is included in their very first album Ring Ring (1973) and it's perhaps the most beautiful hidden gem of their whole repertoire. Just for this reason my favourite ABBA song.
Your pronunciation of Agnetha is fine, don't worry about it, the e-sound could be a bit more like the e-sound of "ear" or "near" though. The English e-sound sounds like you're saying an "i", to us it sounds like you're saying "Angnita". Say Björn as it rhymes with yearn (or learn or earn not born or corn), but not "Bee-yearn", but "B-yearn". Like when you say "Benny", you don't say "Bee-Enny".
Bro, you should just finish off the Voulez Vous album, I think you've got left "I Have a Dream", "The King Has Lost His Crown' & 'Lovers Live a Little Longer", then you've done the whole album...
Hi Chase, you said God put you on this path, and he did a good job! He also brought you the royal pop band of all time, ABBA. I advise you to listen to their song "Like an angel passing through my room" and give your reaction to it. Because it was not only God's work, he sent you an Angel on your path who showed you the right way. Listen to this Heavenly beautiful song of the 4 angels called ABBA. Go, go, go chase!
Thanks, Chase! ❓ Voulez-vous translates from French to English as "Do you want?" It's implied to mean "Do you want to have sex?" Sounds more poetic in French, right?
I like your pronunciation of Voulez-Vous better than the real. A-ha... try Agnetha phonetically: AHN-NE-ETH-A. Sometimes, they blurr the "th" into a soft "t" at the end. Right guys?
Same initial reactions, 45 years apart. Speaks volumes about ABBA's greatness.
I have never heard a bad Abba song yet..

Chase, I think you would have been going nuts on the dance floor with the rest of us. 😄
This is one of those songs that it’s impossible to not groove out to
ABBA makes me happy whenever I'm sad
Chase is absolutely adorable!
Voulez Vous is French for "Do You Want?" album title Do You Want ABBA ?
It means - " do you wanna go bed with me?" No joke.
This is their most disco sounding track i think
"My New Favorite!" t-shirt😅.
Go for more ABBA, Chase!
Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
On your t-shirt it should say "This is AMAZING" 😍 always enjoyable to watch your reaction videos.
I concur! It would be spot on, and I would definitely buy 👍👍👍

Basically French for "Are you up for it?"
so nice to see you return with more ABBA songs
"Voulez vous" (in double A-side with "Angeleyes"),
pick at # 3 in the U.K., is the third single from their sixth album "Voulez vous"
(ABBA's album with the most sound and disco influence,

"Voulez Vous"
(a french title, means 'do you want?')
have one of the most iconic 'A-ha' in ABBA songs
(with "Knowing me knowing you")
and also iconic palms in the instrumental part
"Voulez Vous"
is the only ABBA song that the music was recorded outside Sweden
in the Criteria Studios of Miami USA , in a trip of The musicians songwriters Benny & Björn
the voices always was recorded in their homeland Sweden
some context data:
the official video is from April 5 & 6, 1979
also in the same days ABBA filmed the video of "Does your mother know" too
both from their classic director Lasse Hallstrom
curiously those two days were:
Agnetha's 29th birthday and
the fifth anniversary of unforgettable ABBA triumph in the Eurovision Song Contest
(with iconic song "Waterloo")
the blonde singer Agnetha and guitarist Björn were already separated since end of 1978 (with two young children) what will be legal divorce in 1980
It must have been a very difficult birthday for Agnetha;
but still, here she looks beautiful and radiant in thie official video
I hope to see you soon with more ABBA songs
a sugestión: "Knowing me knowing you" (1977)
the other icónic a-ha chorus in worldwide hits

That’s the ABBA Effect 🤣🤣🤣
Please don't forget their many Spanish recordings just as beautiful particularly Andante Andante
Voo Lay Voo. Another great song by them
here are their songs - 200% fun! ❤
Fantastic reaction Chase.

Very good Chase! You pronounce their names right 😀❤ I love this song. I love all btw 😀
Voulez-vous meens Do you want, or would you
Voulez-vous ? Oui, je veux. 😊
he's so stupid he cant pronounce it lol
Her name is Anni-frid but they call her Frida that's way the name ABBA
Agnetha,Bjorn,Benny and Anni-frid

You got the name pretty close at one point. It's VOO-LAY VOO (Voo said like do)
Voulez Vous, French for "Do you want to?"
You said Agnetha's name very well. But it's with a T sound, not English TH sound.
its a wonder for a kid at that age

Voulez-vous is french for Do you want or would you like. It is pronounced "vuleh vu"
Thanks, Chase! ❓ Voulez-vous translates from French to English as "Do you want?" It's implied to mean "Do you want to have sex?" Sounds more poetic in French, right?
I literally translates to Do You Want
🎉,,👍
"Voo Lay VOO" (French for "Would you like?")
Ok so the easiest way to say Agnetha is to say it like Ann- yetta and Voulez Vous is French and roughly translates as “ would you like to”😊
Try 'KC and the Sunshine Band' for other fun upbeat songs.
Honestly put this on in a bar and dodgy knee or not im ON that dancefloor
Abba's "disco" era...voulez vous is french
Awesome idea. U can sell a look-alike doll that speaks really fast

Agnetha explains how to pronounce her name: ruclips.net/video/waBQpLrsAZ8/видео.html
they speak better English than former president. Apparently, no French classes for you. And too many y'all
Dude, do next the 2nd single from their brand last new album of 2022-23 " I'm still have faith in you"
Agnetha is pronounced Anyetta in Sweden
More like Ug(like in ugly), net (with a little taller e), ha (almost no h). 🥰❣️
