Gear Cube Is easy to learn Megaminx is basically a 3x3 with 12 sides

@@pradyundevarakonda6849 this one can be solved by logic, megaminx requires few algos. Rediminx is cool and does not require algorymthms once you understand how to solve 2 layers on 3x3 :)

for a second i was about to say horrible tutorial bc my cube would not solve but then i got to the last step and realized one of my gears got messed up so i solved it but then that one gear was twisted so i twisted it back, re-scrambled it and watched again and it works. great tutorial,easy to understand

I just bought the cube and played with it and figured out another method before looking online for any other methods, which is pretty similar to this one, but I think it is much faster, and has easier look ahead. I got sub-20 very quickly and got a 6.98 PB with this.
In the first step, I just want to solve a bar (two adjacent corners and the edge in between), so I put the corners next to each other, and on the opposite edge, I put the edge that should go in between and spam right move until the edge goes to the correct position and it is also aligned. If the edge is flipped, I do R U R U R U.
The other bar is going to be automatically solved, so I can join it to the other bar.
Now I want to solve the top and bottom face, which means that I want to solve the center and the edges between the two bars that I just solved. I will assume that the two bars solved have white as a common color, they are on the bottom, and the white parts are on each side (pretty much like Roux). I will also assume that red is the front color. Basically, at this step, I want to solve the M layer, which will solve both the top and bottom faces. This is pretty intuitive, if the whites are on the bottom but not in the correct position, you can take them out and flip them, if they are on the top layer, you align them and then insert them with R moves. Here, if the white edges are on top, make sure that the orange edge is on the front, so that after you do an R2, it goes to the back. You will now spam R until the edges are solved and are also aligned. If they are flipped, you do R U R U R U. If the center is not at the bottom, you can do R U2 R' to insert it.
Now that the top and bottom faces are solved, you just rotate the cube so the unsolved part is the M layer and you spam R until the cube is solved.

Hello i have a question. My gear cube has extra gears that is shaped like u but they don't have stickers on them, so i solved the cube but white white red and white blue edges aren't orientated its neither x algorithm or paralel, what to do?

Hey when im doing the first step instead of having the 4 corners done on all sides along with the center, i get 2 sides fully solved but the rest of the sides dont have the corners solved...wts up with that?

For some reason when I finis the corners and try to put the edges in the correct position, the yellow side is swapped with the white side and I can’t figure it out. @CubeRazn
