I want to use DataGrip so badly. Unfortunately, you need to refer to a table in the docs to know what types your columns have. Because someone thought having 16 icons that look the same instead of using labels (or at the very least a tooltip?) would be better for some reason? The "Ability to See if a Field is Nullable or Non-nullable" ticket on their forum shows the icons table I'm talking about (not sure if RUclips blocks comments with links or not).
Why the video is so dark?? i thought i had brightness issue with my monitor. I've been using it everyday for i don't even remember how much. The lack of admin utility like creating user and assign permissions is very annoying (or maybe they introduced it and i did not notice it)
Honestly no, i used both and simply because i own all Jetbrains products i use Datagrip now but still miss Navicat sometimes. DataGrip is quickly getting better for sure, but it still feels like a collection of database tools instead of a full fletched database manager, mostly because that is exactly how it started its life, using existing db tools in Jetbrains IDEs and collecting them in its own application

There is a tooltip with the type on hover at least in the IDE integration.
