Funny to see offline accounts being sold there. That is actually a pretty easy way to play a game that has not been cracked. People just sell access to their accounts and you get the login credentials and have time to download the game itself and follow their instructions on how to permanently set that launcher, whichever the game is on, in offline mode and you can easily play through the entire story without any issues. Not that i've ever bought one of those, just heard from a friend, yeah...
15:37 "So it's all offline" 15:59 "someone else logs into that same account, you're gonna get booted" 16:03 "Your save files is gonna be all over the place" Austin must be using some new meaning of "all offline" that I'm unfamiliar with...
Its a shame they didnt do a christmas video with everyone buying 1 mystery item like they did last year and for austins birthday. Those videos are amazing
That Pokemon camera is cool. I'm an 80's kid, your man servant should have clicked the shutter button 3x times after loading the film, so the light sensitive film gets rolled out. After 24 or so shots it will be full sometimes you get an extra shot, after its full that is when you rewind the film back into its case and have it developed. I know this is an old video, but some likes to my comment so Austin can read this to have a follow up on this camera please.
As a person who's job is selling beds, 8 sleep is a great idea, but I have two worries. 1, people don't understand temperature regulation during sleep. Therefore, they are going to make the bed too warm or cold. 2. What happens when the system leaks?
Yeah I noticed the examples Austin used were backwards too. He said that making the bed colder would encourage you to get out of bed. And making it warmer would encourage you to fall back to sleep in the middle of the night. It's the opposite. You sleep better when you are cooler, and you will struggle to sleep more in a bed that is being heated.
I’m a vintage film photography enthusiast! The pokemon camera is in nearly pristine condition, but there may be some internal parts that rusted or broke down after sitting unused for that amount of time. My guess is that there’s some part related to the winding wheel that’s not working. The good news is that there is absolutely people out there that repair old cameras, and would love to see it working again! I’d check any photography shop in your city that specializes in vintage and film cameras. You might need to find someone that knows Japanese cameras, but someone who works in a photography shop might be able to point you in a good direction. Those slides you put over the shutter are an amazing idea! I’d love to use those if they worked with the model of camera I use.
Could be that the gears are made of plastic which may have become brittle over time and the teeth have broken off. Also the custom lenses could probably be easily replicated by placing some small vinyl stickers over your lense or on a clear plastic cover that could be placed over the lense.
lol. Went back in the video after seeing Austin purchased only the box for Adulting Cartridge only is $26.59 box only is $28.80 so he paid more for a mostly empty box then he would have if he had just got the game by itself.
These videos are so much better with the new producers. I love Matt and Ken, but they're better as on-camera talent and managers I feel. I enjoy seeing them more than them being behind the scenes. And Kinsey, Jared, and Alex are all really great at keeping the flow of the videos going
The big problem with those little retro gaming emulation boxes tends to be that the hardware many of them use is overpriced. The Exynos 5422 can be harvested from a Galaxy S5 bought for as little as $50 USD. A $5 LED screen, $15 worth of plastic to house it, and about $50 in labor make that an egregiously overpriced product. Worse, the Exynos chips are ARM-based, and while there are ARM chips out there that run emulators well, I don't as a rule recommend an Exynos chip from 2014 for emulation of anything higher than the 16-bit games. I owned the S5 and SNES and Genesis games ran very well in RetroArch, but Playstation and N64 games didn't. You're going to be better off buying a mini-pc with an AMD APU for $150 and installing Batocera or SteamOS.
He waaaay overpaid for that Odroid. Those are actually ok if a little outdated when bought direct. You can get them for like $60. Even a retroid pocket or odin actually isn't that bad of a deal considering you don't need to build it yourself.
Austin I'd rather watch you buy stuff from Etsy (even though some of it, eh..) than Temu and Wish and all ANY day just knowing the proceeds go to a real little person. It would have been so perfect if the game for the adulting game was simply if you fully read the listing or not. That is, they wrote you back and said, "You Lost, because you didn't read the listing like an adult! Better adulting next time."
Jacob R did a review of a similar one on his channel. It's basically your standard famiclone plus a composite-to-LCD board, an audio amplifier and a single 18650 with charging circuitry. Honestly a little disappointed they didn't use real nintendo chips in there.

The portable nes towards the end can u connect it to a tv and use the console as just the controller? That would be kinda cool and would take care of the screen flicker/ghosting. Or im sure u could open it up and but something inside it to help stiffen up the case to help with the flickering too.
The Odroid-XU4 was a great competitor to the Pi long ago as I had one myself, but these days it's ancient and well outclassed by even the Pi 4. Came out back in 2015.
as for the steam games most tell you to setup family share to your own account (still use an alt account) that way people logging into that account wont boot u off ur game or ruin saves because ur playing on ur own account.
$2,200 for a bed pad ? And you have to pay a subscription to use that pod at least $15 per month for the basic and $24 for the advanced plan!!!! What a joke!
Certainly there are people selling shared steam account (i've seen it personally). They selling (or maybe offering) their product via facebook group, not on the online marketplace like in Austin video. They sell it for cheap like around 1$-3$ (converted from my county currency). What i know, it doesn't have that many games, mostly 10-30 games/account, and it contains more popular games like spiderman, final fantasy, etc. some of the seller even allow buyer to negotiate if they want a specific games on those shared steam account, whether the seller buy it or not and they still get the account at the same price. So, how they operate, i don't know the specific but after the buyer finished downloading the game, they must go into offline mode and never go online. Maybe it's convenient for those people who doesn't have that many money to buy the games, and don't want to pirate it either (cause y'know...virus).
Who tf would pay $29 for a game box for a random niche game? Having the "box upgrade" cost more than the "cartridge only" option makes it sound like you're getting the game with the upgrade being the box. The game is available for free anyway and it's pretty short and boring.
Why would they? Even on Etsy there's no guarantee that the seller is actually the person or persons who made or otherwise sourced the product beyond simple drop-shipping anymore.
19:15 Those are probably original NES controller buttons. And the original NES controller and console both had sharp corners. So it's accurate to the original.
the pikachu camera with the overlay, when i was a kid long before the pokemans my family was broke we had a single 110 camera (i told you i was old) it was a ninja turtles camera so alot of our meaningful family moments are preserved with an overlayed turtle with a slice of pizza 😆😆
So, for original NES clones.... BenHeck has an old video on it, when he made his NES mini, but there is a game console out there, one of those little joysticks that you plug directly into a tv, that has a silicone chip in it, that is exactly a NES on a single chip. Using that, you can build a NES clone in whatever housing you want. The chip is small enough you could make it into a watch, but then you still have to connect the original cartridge. As for the cartridge interface, there was some like... NeoGeo game that was literally an NES cartridge inside of a NeoGeo cartridge, that you can take apart and it already has the interface for the NES cartridge in it. Using those two things and some soldering, it is actually really easy to make a working NES.
Honestly... that Xbox controller dip looks amazing. Just put some green buttons on it and you'd have an awesome nature-themed controller. Of all the items, I think that one was the most legit looking to me. It didn't look like something slapped together in 15 minutes using some cheap knockoff kit that cost $2, but an actual decent modification that had thought and effort put into it. Bravo on whoever made that. Not my thing with the button style, but I can definitely respect it. That woodgrain look is so CLEAN! (At least in 4k, LOL) Oh, and that emulator? You got scammed on that one BADLY. A $53 EOL board based on an SOC used in the Galaxy 5, one that's so ancient it's no longer in production or even available... for that same price, they could have dropped in a MUCH more powerful, modern board. Although... they should have spent a little more and used a proper FPGA. The screen they used was also a REALLY cheap/low quality one, which is a shame. For paying that much, you should have gotten a nice 1080p OLED 60Hz or even 120Hz one. At 3 inches or less, they're hardly more expensive than LCD panels nowadays. It's only in larger ones that they scale up insanely. Proper secondary screen setup can be used for more than box art, too. You can have that be a menu system for cheats/saves/etc. as well as for selecting the emulator, and, IF a proper screen/board combo is used, it can indeed also be used as a screen for playing games. You can also build it to be fully portable by including an internal battery pack (Lipo/LiFePo4/etc - your choice). You could also then have your choice of outputs, even going so far as to use RCA plugs and having the FPGA board emulate the OEM video encoder chip. (Or of course 4k over HDMI, lol.) Shame that you wound up with such a dud... they screwed you right proper..
I see you using a LG Gram, is your trackpad super sensative. I have one and I cant even use the trackpad. its always dragging thing around or selecting things its not supposed to, even with the sensitivity all the way down.
I've built a bunch of those odroid consoles. All the odroid stuff comes from Korea with way too much shipping cost lol. It does NOT work through the tft display, that's purely for displaying art for the games. Also, $234 is pretty reasonable. They probably made $30-40 on it. I've sold a bunch to friends, and it's weird that yours wasn't playing N64 games. That's the reason I went with the xu4 over raspberry pi, because the pi can't for sure. Maybe it's recalbox, because the retro arena (an emulation station based is for odroids) works great with games up to n64, psp, and ps1
For some context, the whole steam account thing isn't as sus as you might think. The listing gets deleted immediately after sale so someone else doesn't pay for access to that account as well. I bought hogwarts legacy in the same fashion and have never had any issues whatsoever. Also you don't have to use that account because steam allows library sharing, so you just have to log into the account with the game on it and share the library to your main steam account and you can play it on your own account no problem. It's definitely a hassle way of doing it, but sometimes you can get a really good deal on a game for going through the trouble.
When you let the camera smash to the table the film roll jumped from the grind mechanism and get stuck so you need to open and reinstall or the film it's to old and get stuck after being installed
i wouldn't call the superlight and ultralight mouse. its actually on the heavier side of lightweight mice. not the heaviest of them, those are in the 70s of grams. but the lighter once are in the low 50s and under.
9:45 To be fair...if you are buying something and there is an option for "box upgrade" youd really think it would be the game with the box unless stated in that option. Did it say anything in the listing at all? That is definitely a scammy way tk to list something.
My favorite thing about this show is that I can scream "no, you're ordering just the box!" at my TV and later on, that'll be a thing

That's the reason I went with the xu4 over raspberry pi, because the pi can't for sure. Maybe it's recalbox, because the retro arena (an emulation station based is for odroids) works great with games up to n64, psp, and ps1
7:58 when I have my six shooter in one hand and a mint julep in the other
Can we get a tour of the display in the back? Like a history of the display items.
10:02 that person had a hard laugh. A real good one indeed.
The account is still probably stolen though.
@@EvilTurkeySlices A steam account that literally had one single game? I find that really hard to believe honestly
we want ep.2!!!!!!!
we want ep.2!!!!!!!
we want ep.2!!!!!!!!
On that camera did you forget batteries austin
When you let the camera smash to the table the film roll jumped from the grind mechanism and get stuck so you need to open and reinstall or the film it's to old and get stuck after being installed
i wouldn't call the superlight and ultralight mouse. its actually on the heavier side of lightweight mice. not the heaviest of them, those are in the 70s of grams. but the lighter once are in the low 50s and under.
Weight doesn't matter that much anyway since you get used to any weight of a mouse. The ergonomics, skates and weight balance is what matter the most.
The game is available digitally on itch for 3 dollars with soundtrack, comic and manual.
Id like to see a version of this video with pictures of the people who made these items 😂🧡
As someone who likes a heavier mouse. I hate the lightweight trend. It's basically impossible to find a mouse as heavy as I want.
Same, I honestly don't know why people like this lightweight thing, heavier mouses feel more responsive and precise.
There's quite a few heavy mice out there, like the Logitech G502 Xeries or the Razer Basilisk Series!
Can't wait for Austin to be behind bars ~ 😂😂😂
All the YES for ep 2 ....

It's 2024 Austin- you can come out of the Pokémon closet.
Austin buying a wafer made me laugh a little😂. Because less than a year ago I’m handling one 😂
9:45 To be fair...if you are buying something and there is an option for "box upgrade" youd really think it would be the game with the box unless stated in that option.
Did it say anything in the listing at all? That is definitely a scammy way tk to list something.
14:56 The laptop is so good looking, what model is that?
Ok what music is used on the wafer section? Sounds like a remake of Wizard and Warriors potion theme
Coming as a first gen pc guy ...mouses have become increasingly smaller in size and materials but grown ridiculously in price!
