- These things are awesome. If you don't have cruise control, I'd highly recommend these things. Just be careful when braking. Make sure it is on low enough to not be pressed down while braking.
Been using a crampbuster for many years......best thing since sliced bread.
I forgot to take it off my last bike. (I crashed it. Written off). I have to get a new one.
I love it when a simple thing makes the word of difference!
Absolutely. Not much more Simone than this.
That device is definitely a hand saver. I’ve used them in the past.
I love it. Not sure how I’d go without it now.
Such a clever and easy bike mod ( not even really a mod now). Comes in handy when doing big Highway miles.
Definitely. So cheap and easy to install.
Absolutely essential for longer rides. A fab addition 😀
A definite winner.
I have had one of these sitting in the garage for a few years, bought it for Ambers Continental GT. I must remember to fit it one day
Try it out. Just remember to keep it pretty low so you don’t accidentally accelerate when trying to brake.
I use one, can highly recommend it. I couldn’t do any long distances without a Throttle Grip Assist 👍
I've been using it for about a month and I love it.
Mine slides so I have to keep adjusting it
Mine slides too, so I stuck it on using double sided tape
I bought something like that last week. Haven't really tried it yet but from what I can tell it's pretty awesome. Definitely gonna need it in the new years and on some group rides
@@DonutLord32 takes a little bit to get used to. They are great.
@@hachewie I did notice when I tried it out yesterday it did feel weird. It'll definitely be useful on a group ride or a long solo road trip
These things rock - have one for my little intruder and it's handy as hell.
Awesome Wiz
Game changer for the motorway, couldn't agree more ✌️
Yeah man. Thanks mate.
Good stuff Chewie I have the same thing but different..Important to get it in the right spot like we spoke about on Sunday …👍🏻🇦🇺
For sure. It’s not fun trying to brake when the bike is being revved.
I have seen them but did not know if they were any good but it sounds like they are okay...cool....and cool to see one in operation nice one man
Thanks RK. Can confidently say it the best bang for buck mod I have made.
@@hachewie Might look into one
Great thing. Thanks for sharing it. On longer rides it really helps. Keep up mate.
Thanks mate.
What a great addition
Thanks mate.
Cruise control is my friend, lol. When I didn’t have cruise in the past, Kyruyan do a grip with an adjustable paddle on the far outer of the grip. Adjusts with an Allen key. Didn’t get in the way but set at cruising speed for the long hauls.
But on a more serious note if your fingers are getting tingly get it checked out. I thought I had a pinched nerve in my shoulder causing numbness but it was my neck. Some physio later and I haven’t had numbness for years
Great advice. I’ll look into it mate. I get osteo on my neck regularly as it’s damaged.
It's not cruise control. Duh!
@@lance7413 who said it was? My Harley has cruise control hence my comment ’Cruise control is my friend’. Duh for being ignorant
Ya bud these are wicked, as I have one on my Honda. Cheers y’all
Cheers man.
Very handy. I have one on my Himalayan. Works a treat.
You’re a treat.
Oh man!! I need to get me one of those!! Thanks Chewie!!
Easy brother.
I have one of those I’ve never tried it
Sounds like it’s working well for you 👊♥️
Yeah man. It sure is. Such a cheap an easy mod.
I used to have something similar, but it only lasted a week before it broke. I ended up getting a cheap throttle lock, and I use that now.
I’m thinking about one of those.
@@hachewie I could not find the exact one I purchased, but a search on Amazon for "Motorcycle Cruise Control" will provide you with something that looks like this. m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Be-p+PGOL._AC_SL1500_.jpg Take care, ride safe.
@@PaulsMotoZen Thanks mate.
I have one for my cruiser and rarely used it for some reason, which I can’t explain lol.
I’ve used it every ride since I’ve had it. It’s a great tool.
i have a problem of keeping the throttle steady when bouncing from the suspension (ive been a bicycle rider for 20 years and recently upgraded to an Ebike, and it has a thumb throttle), cus im used to sorta laying my thumb on the throttle housing and sliding it down onto the thumbstick/throttle, so the friction from my thumb touching the housing keeps it in place and from bouncing up and down as i hit bumps (also im a staunch rigid frame rider, so i feel every bump and got to the point i instincually ride with the pavement like a skateboarder. so just the MCs movement from accelerating or slowing in the suspension throws me off and makes my grip move around and couldnt figure out how to fix it without putting a thumb stud on it and making it a freaking thumb throttle, and then i find ur video!)
Good luck with it. Let me know how it goes.
I like the look of that for the Street triple - no cruise control n that.
Can you shoot me a link to where you get them?
Actually found them it’s ok mate!
I bought mine from MCA. I think it was $7.95
Thanks 👌
You’re welcome
Those are much safer than a throttle lock. I had one...it broke at half throttle. Pretty sketchy pulling over with your bike hitting the rev limiter with the clutch pulled in.
Oh man that’s shit. Yeah I never even thought about that.
@@hachewie Ya...lucky I had the small tool bag. lol. Took that crap off right then. Heart racing ...whew...hahaha... Now I don't even remember why I'd want it. My electric bike has cruise control.... seriously.... I know... I know... but I've only used it twice.....just for slow speed range extremes. I don't trust that shit.
@@RandysRides I trust it. Wish I had it on my bike.
If it works bro it’s a win simple ideas are the best
Yeah man. Like scuba sniping in zero degree water. Hahahaha.
@@hachewie yeah that’s just dangerous mate
I'd def fit something like that to my Aprilia if it didn't have the cruise control, simple, but effective....
I’ll take cruise control please. 💚🏍💨
@@hachewie it is so awesome mate
Hello my friend 👍🏻 🤝🏻
Gday mate.
Are these just for cruising? Tried it in the twisties etc? I have a thumb injury and a 4 hour hard ride kills my thumb and wrist. Cheers
Definitely helps with the long rides. I leave it on when doing the twisties but it does take a little getting used to.
@@hachewie thanks for that!! I have one, but haven't tried it out yet...didn't want to be whiskey throttling...which is why I have the injury in the first place....
I get a similar cramp on my late night alone times.. Do you think this will work for other more “personal” applications Matthew?
I’ve tried it out and I thing it definitely reduced the fatigue when a long session is happening.
@@hachewie I’ll order 2 then.. one for me and one for the bike 👍
@@Australiana you need a third. One for the left hand.
@@hachewie Ha ha, well I didn’t wanna brag
@@Australiana brag away.
Next step....throttle lock!
I’m thinking about it. 😉
I tried it
Very dangerous and useless...
I liked it.
@@hachewie my jacket catches it constantly
@@jasmijnariel Ahhh, that would suck. I didn't have that problem.
Cool addition and great to give your right hand a break. I'm right into mt cruise control. I'll DM you on Insta about some you my fond interesting about your Throttle. Ride well. Cheers.
Thanks Moz. My right hand deserves more breaks than it gets.
@@hachewie Just ride, then. 😉😁
@@Moz42 hahahahahahaha
Good stuff Chewie I have the same thing but different..Important to get it in the right spot like we spoke about on Sunday …👍🏻🇦🇺
Definitely. I’ve experienced the throttle on when trying to brake.

Great advice. I get osteo occasionally on my neck. It’s pretty stuffed.
@@hachewie three vertebra in my neck are stuffed. One squashed, one narrowing, and one pushing sideways. Always being careful and seeking medical when needed. Exercises get done when needed due to pain.
