Very underrated vocalist
My mother used to play him when I was really young. She passed away six years ago. Every time I listen to Michael Henderson‘s music, I always think of my mother. Rest in heaven mom. Her favorite songs was in the night time which is a favorite of mine, and of course wide receiver.

I saw the Facebook post of his that he transitioned over this morning when he passed yesterday. Now I have to break out my Michael Henderson playlist on Spotify and tribute to him. He was my mom‘s favorite as well. Her favorite song was wide receiver. She passed away on July 22 of 2013. Now it’s going to be weird because their passing dates is kind of close to each other. She would used to play his music during house parties when she had company.

great song. use it in college back in the 70's. however, it's horribly out of sync by 2:52 marker. The post song interview with Don was cool, relaxed and informative. Mike's answers were unfaltering and on point. Don was speechless, but was smooth and kept it moving. RIP Mike. You were truly, truly one of the great ones who did not get the attention, money and respect you absolutely deserved.
still dumbfounded why he didn't sing this at a concert in Atlanta..it was requested but still refused...don't get it!!
