All 7 episodes? Wow, thanks for uploading this. I bought Airbats on VHS in the late 90's and loved it. It's a shame that it didn't run for longer than 7 episodes.
Np, I have almost every anime from manga and all the other Japanese animation series and movies also bought in the 90 wen I still was a teenager on VHS. Does are the only video tapes I dint throw out, these days I have almost every animation cartoon downloaded on my hard-disk. My first animation movie I ever seined was Akira and fell in love right away, have a nice day :)
I don't care what anyone says, I miss this style of animation. Yeah, the modern shows may be a bit cleaner, but this is classic stuff, drawn without the aid of computers. It just looks and feels more alive somehow.
Mainly, i think is the less form of frames in the digital form, and lines feel so clean, the way how characters were drawn feel realistic, you would have a bit of dimple and bumps on the clothing, etc. IT's how i see them alive even the expressions too. Nowadays is that they kinda feel really lifeless xD

A little cheesy, but to be expected from older style. Sometimes Ill skip out if its a little too cringe, but this has been pleasant so far. Worth the watch, it would seem.
Didnt think I'd find this anime ever again, letalone on youtube. I used to have it on VHS, and I just remembered it recently. Took a while to find the name sence I forgot. I figured it wouldnt be on youtube to do potential copy right claims. But it is an old series I doubt anyone is throwing a fuss over.
think it as top gun ,where you can see tom cruise . the story good and beautiful anime as well as the detailing.from copper to jet.characters are looking nice.tqvm
My big issue with how they do the Thunderbirds episode (still my favorite episode) in particular is just how much they mess up with their presentation of the Thunderbirds. For one, Yeager wouldn’t just park and climb out of her F-16. All 6 demo jets would have to be lined up with their engines shut down before any pilot would depart the aircraft. Second, the maneuver that shows the jets crossing in formations of 3 was never done by the Thunderbirds. The maneuver would be done by the solos. That and the finale would be all 6 jets in the delta formation flying from show right to left (or vice versa) and pitching out to get into the landing configuration. With those criticisms out of the way I still enjoy the episode

Best guess is she’s meant to be an “islander”. Some of the more rural islands of Japan tend to lead to what mainlanders consider a “hick” accent to their Japanese speech patterns. Closest English interpretation is southern drawl

Also, love Yoko’s voice actress. Don’t know what she was doing, but at least it’s unique.
She sounds a lot like Tiffany Grant to me, who was also the English voice for Asuka in Evangelion. Could be wrong but it sounds really similar.

A great show with a empty/shitty ending. They could've done more with this OVA. Definitely should've been longer than 7 episodes.
