This is a must watch video! You need this special USB Stick (zip drive) that you can use on your iPad and your computer or Laptop! Download embroidery designs zipped or unzipped using your iPad, and then take them to your computer. Surfing for embroidery designs is now easier and more fun with your iPad!
Can you post the link for the verbatim iPad/usb stick please. This is exactly what I am looking for. And do you know on which models if iPad it is compatibles? Thanks so much..
If you have an unzip tool on iPad and you unzip the file and put onto the verbatim stick can you put USB part into embroidery machine. Would the machine recognise the files so as to skip computer part
Some sites when you click on the design, it automatically downloads. You don't put them in the cart. When I try to do it to the ipad I just get garbage message. Am I doing something wrong
you have to have the verbatim app going on - and that should pick up and tell the download to go to the right place - otherwise, your ipad doesn't like it.
you can use any USB drive on a Windows 10 laptop. The Verbatim USB stick is specifically made to use with your iPad. So yes, if you have a regular zip drive, just plug it in and download your designs, unzip them and get stitching!

yes, it should - but I don't think an iPad can unzip files?
Thank you that was so STRAIGHT TO THE POINT 👍🏼

Hi Sue - would you be able to do this with a windows 10 laptop or does this only work with an ipad? Great video - thank you.

Is there a reason you can’t use the file system on the iPad or get it from the cloud?
you can use either - it's just another option.
