Great to see Square Home getting some love. Have been using Nova for years and wanted a change stumbled onto Square Home and have been using it for the past couple of months. Great launcher!!
Niagara launcher is also another really good productivity launcher. It takes a little getting used to, but once you know the gestures you can work really fast with it. Plus it looks really nice
nova, niagara, and kvaesitso launcher are some of my favorite launchers that are not listed here. i interchange them from time to time depending on what i need. i use nova launcher for great customization and widgets, niagara for minimalism, while kvaesitso for its nice ui, unique use of widgets, search button, and tags.
Unfortunate issue with android these days. Broken animations all over the place just because you decided to try out another launcher. This is the major reason I no longer use Nova launcher on my main device anymore.
@@JstormZxSame with me. I don't understand why they can't use the default animations. Its not just the animations either, they just feel less responsive and slow compared to whatever the default launcher is
Square Home is great - I have used it on two phones by now, meaning for 3+ years. It hogs resources and the setup is finicky, but I am very satisfied. BTW - you can have folders in your app drawer, so you can sort the apps into categories - very useful when you have many apps (I have about 300 apps installed). I used to have a Windows phone - Lumia was the last one, and I was happy to find this - I do not like the clutter of standard Android and I don't like the notification list - better to have notification on the tile that opens the app. Just my two cents :-)
@@kalimanzerusambakunsi2124 tried it a bit, and I like it, but I think it needs more refinement before I switch. I think its a bug? but when I have 5 apps, for some reason I can scroll and one app disappears. which is pretty weird. Also there are alot of places in the app where I would expect a swipe gesture to work but doesn't. Hopefully the developer improves and I can later switch on. I don't mind payinga few bucks if I really enjoy it but I think I'm sticking with Niagara for now.
I paid for the Niagara launcher since it was such a unique and good launcher. But Flow has Niagara looks with awesome additional stuffs, it does need more and more refinement so will be staying on Niagara until then

Very cool! I will have to try some of these. So far I'm still using Niagara Pro and loving it. Niagara Pro literally makes me more efficient and made me love my phone again.

I tried many launchers over the years since I had my first HTC back in the day. But I can't help to say that the best launcher to me is the original Samsung Launcher I have on my phone. Only addition is the Sense flip clock and weather (the like HTC used)...

One UI also restricts quick recent apps view from home screen of any other launcher. You have to swipe and hold for about 1 sec for recent screen to appear

I don't know if you remember, but any lauchers out there that are similar to buzz Launcher. For me that was the best, hands down.

Naigara is so easy to customize , using naigara is just a delight, but nova has way more flexibility, I use both
I don't like either. I don't get the hype on nova. Even nova prime. The only thing I like a lot is having a large grid with many apps

Flow seems nice. Pretty similar looking to Niagara, but what they added seems rly good. Think I'll give it a try! :D

Square Launcher is the best. I been using it for years. You can also make the tiles animated with Gif pics
