I loved watching him race back and forth between Scarlett and Prim. I’m sure it is good for his old body having the freedom of movement he gets every day with you. Never a dull moment. Was he called ‘Frisco Bill when you got him or is that a CC moniker? I’m pretty sure that is one of your creations :)
I miss Skelly too & try not bring him up because I want to celebrate the horse that is being shown, but I was happy someone knew that was his ball. He did love his toys and was so handsome. He was loved & given the best home and had fans. What more can you ask for?
Skelly was such a playful boy. I loved his brave inquisitiveness. I remember him each time I see one of your videos and still tear up. I was so hopeful that he had beat the odds stacked against him but at least he had the best possible life with you, CC. Skelly was so free and happy to be the quirky charmer he was. I was so glad you included the footage of him playing with his ball. I hope you continue to show us some of his footage when you think of him. He was so lucky to have you as his incredibly kind and knowledgeable caretaker. Thank you so much for all you do in wrangling your herd of misfit toys ;)
Skelly was transformed , babied and loved by this wonderful cowgirl. I try and think how wonderful❤ this channel is and how much love and care all the babies are receiving. They are some lucky horses. I enjoy learning about horse care. It’s allot! Not for the faint hearted.
@@ronallen6578 I just shared Scarlet's, Prim's and Frisco Bill's adventure in this video with my partner; and described poor Frisco Bill rushing to rescue Prim from the pack of wolves that had suddenly appeared in her stall, and how frantic he looked. And my partner touched his heart and said "It gets you right here". And I am tearing up again. Darn it.
Yeah, that was emotional and a well done inclusion with Scarlett's introduction to the ball in the video. Two beautifully loved horses. Skeletor was just gorgeous, as is Scarlett.
25 Dollar for a horse??? Now it don’t surprise me that that in USA so much people have horses although they have no place, no time and no money for them. And send them to the slaughter pipeline when they don’t want them anymore. 😡😡Impossible in my country. Greetings from Germany. Thankfully you are good to your horses 👍👍
May the memory of Skeletor be a blessing to us all. He had been starved and neglected but received loving care until his end. He is mourned and missed. It is so good to see Scarlet grow and mature with the loving care that she needs.
My dear sweet mum who is now passed once said …….It’s better to have loved and lost….than never loved at all …❤….You gave Skelly the best life and he left you beautiful memories xx
Your mom was quoting Alfred Lord Tennyson from the poem In Memoriam A.H.H. I have always loved that quote and I do live by it, even though it is scary. We know how much it is going to hurt when we feel deep love. We know it, and if we are brave, it makes us love all the more fiercely. There's another quote that goes, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." That quote also helps me when I feel grief.
That was a beautiful montage of Scarlett and Skelly. I imagine it was really difficult going through old videos to find the perfect matchup clips to put with Scarlett. I still have a hard time with videos of the last dog I lost a year ago. Thanks so much for including Skeletor in today's video. He was my favorite character. 🥰
@@TheCleverCowgirlI really loved Skeletor and that was quite brave of you to go thru your video footage of him playing with his ball.. He deserves to be remembered. I’m just not quite to a place where I can go back and watch his videos yet. As I write this comment I am crying and my nose is running. I am a real mess lol
Yes, thanks for the memories. I was a bit sad too. But I always feel better when I just think about loving them, even from afar. Frisco Bill showed great concern for the girls, he's my hero.
I will never forget Skeletor he was and will be my favorite handsome boy! CG thank you again for giving him a loving home ❤ Skarlette is maturing and looking amazing ❤
@TheCleverCowgirl I feel like there's a chance Stewy can rise to the task of influencing new arrivals. He's very outgoing and good minded - definitely seems to have been a good influence on Pete ❤ I don't think any horse can truly replace another though, and Frisco is for sure a uniquely amazing boy ❤

Another new favorite! So proud of Scarlet; entertained by “the little turd”; amazed by Frisco Bill; also missing Skeletor and I’m glad you said it. ❤❤❤
I'm sure I wasn't the only one cheering when Scarlet made her first exit. Very good editing to give us an idea of the effort required and how much she has improved.
She was such a skinny little then when you got her. I cried because of the condition she was in. Was so happy you bought her. You've done a fabulous job rehabilitating her. She's gorgeous ❤
01:55 Prim! 💕 what a beautiful, fun, spirited horse! Who will you sell her to? The new owner will have to be an extra special person. Only the best for Prim. 💕
Look at that little sassy old man Nigel!! He's really a sweet little little guy!! Scarlett is a beautiful girl!! It's so nice to see the boys getting along! You have beautiful horses. God Bless you Sweetheart.😊❤
I think all who knew about Skeletor will miss him for some time. It is one of the hardest decisions to make, to let go of pet or animal that you are attached to, he was a sweet boy. Scarlett is getting so big and looking amazing as well do the boys and Prim. You take such good care of your horses and teach your viewers so much about caring. Thank You CC you are amazing.
I have a dog like Scarlet, she’s scared of EVERYTHING. I used to kinda get impatient with her but then I imagined how sad of a life it must be to live in that little brain full of fear. Lots of love and patience has helped her tremendously. You are sooo good with your animals CC. She’s very lucky to have ended up with you. Not may other people would have had the patience. Can’t wait to see you ride her one day, and watch her come full circle. Frisco’s love triangle is too cute. Old man’s still got game.
I was reading about how equines need other equines around in order to fully relax into deep sleep states. Excellent problem solving with Scarlet and working to confront fear. There are no rules and solving a conundrum is always a sum grater than its assumed parts. An ability to work with horses and gain their trust is an art. Memories are tools to be creative.

Frisco Bill is such a dear horse, beautiful in all of his ways. I was so glad to see Scarlett manage to be less afraid of going in and out of her stall. She is turning into such a beautiful horse. I think all of us miss Skeletor too; he was a truly magnificent horse but you have good memories of the time you had him. You were his person too!!😊
Great footage on Scarlett's stall training! Your patience is amazing and thoroughly interesting to watch...nothing boring about it! Also, Nigel looks great. He was almost completely black with mud last week so you groomed him for many hours! Regardless of how long it's been, I still choke up watching any of Skelly's videos so I can only imagine how it makes you feel. Beautiful memories.
Cc the flash back of skeleton playing with the ball along with scarlet mplaying with the ball brought tears to my eyes and made me want to write to you about how good the video showing the two at the same time was so special. 🎉I’m a wimp and don’t watch videos of skelator too much because I start crying. I didn’t even knowskelator too much through your videos but I did get to see him blossom into the beautiful animal he was. You had the genetic testing on him and his breeding was a surprise to you. All I know is I enjoyed watching how playful he was. How he was mistreated in his training, with rope burn scars. Heartbreaking how his earlier mistreatment set him up for injuries.. Anyway I loved seeing them both play with the ball I am liking scarlet more and more. She’s a beautiful girl. I cheered when she started going through the stall doorway being more comfortable. To me you worked wonders. I’m glad for your channel. Thank you.
Scarlet has grown so much and is a Diva! I shed a few tears seeing Skeletor ❤ ❤. How is it possible to love these animals when I haven't even touched them, it blows my mind!
I think that Ziggy is just one of those geldings who gets along with mares. I had a gelding like that once. Somehow he sweet-talked all the difficult mares into loving him the best. In mixed turnout, he would pair up with the head mare, and she and he would be inseparable sweethearts. My friends who owned witchy mares would beg for me to trailer with them when we went somewhere because the mare would never have a problem with this gelding. Ziggy and Scarlet may be meant for one another as turnout buddies. His friendly and unsuspicious nature may rub off on her, too.
You know that Scarlett's 30 day training sequence was my introduction to your channel. Not being a horse person per se, I was just interested in the process and have been watching ever since. I'd be surprised if you didn't have that wave of emotions about Skeletor. Any time an animal lover loses one of their family it has to make an impact of them. If it doesn't then I would wonder if that animal was truly loved. My family never had horses and I truly can't fully understand the commitment you've made to care for all of your kids. Our beloved black lab Emma died a year after my wife (truly tough year) and that was 2006 and it doesn't take much to stir emotions about them both. Hopefully this feeling never goes away.
@ronallen6578 Speaking of CC's "committment to her kids"... this is truly remarkable. She has created an entire program from the extreme passion in her heart to give last chance horses another chance. And, she dutifully takes on all resposibility, tasks, and care for these worthy creatures. It absolutely is amazing! This channel is bringing you comfort and connection 😊 Be well!
I’m so glad you shared Skelly’s playing with the ball…I loved his gentle nature and how handsome he was ❤❤ He had so much to live for, being loved 🥰 I miss seeing him even now, but I know he’s playing with his ball in horse heaven, bless you CC 🙏💯💗💗💗
Lovely to see Skeletor again - and excellent cross clipping. Made my eyes water. And again, great job nudging Scarlett. She will grow up to be such a lovely horse - and TALL! 😀
Scarlett is a very bright star, she has that curious playful nature. With your calm & consistent manner of training she will gain her confidence more & more. I think she's very brave ... and will be 16 hands! There's your athlete Clever ... ❤
“I thought I was through the random crying phase, ” you said and I almost teared up for you- but I’m watching this all months later. That random crying phase is sneaky, I know from experience. The way you put Skeletor’s footage next to Scarlet as they played was wonderful. I think it captured the different layers of the experience of watching Scarlet play with Skeletor’s ball, knowing whose ball that was. ❤️ And Frisco Bill cracked me up running back and forth between his two girls.
Im still so sad over Skelly's passing, he had my heart. But it helps to see all your other babies doing so wonderfully ❤. Frisco Bill was so funny running back and forth between "his" two girls. I love it XD.
It's 7am here in Switzerland, and I just enjoyed my breakfast with this beautiful video. Thank you CC. Fond memories of sweet rascal Skelly. He's very much missed. The sequence with Scarlet and him was a beautiful way to commemorate him. Scarlet is one brave, gorgeous girl 😍 sending a special hug to you CC 🤗🤗🙋🏻♀️
This morning I watched an old video with Skeletor, he was a good boy, a horse any of us would have been happy to have. You've immortalized him. Mr One Sock
Making them repeat something until they're bored-that's so smart! Scarlet's a wonderful girl, and will keep blossoming. The second I saw the ball it tugged my heartstrings. I can't imagine how hard it was doing that montage. Hugs to you, and skritchies for the herd.
I think speaking about Skeletor and remembering him is a wonderful thing. I did get teary-eyed seeing him play with his ball as Scarlett was checking his ball out. He will always be a big part of your life and your channel. ❤ Scarlett is beautiful! Thanks for the video CC. 🐎🥕❤️ Nigel is such a goofball 😂
Knowing NOTHING about Scarlett,-- in 2years, under YOUR Care,-- she is going to be Stunning, Physically. Perfect color. Flashy even. I hope you can bring her personality Up and Out,-- and Like It 😊❤️😊
You made me ugly cry with the Skelly ball/ Scarlett ball video. We all love and miss that handsome boy. I have never seen a video that showed how the spirit of horses can be passed down. Skelly to Scarlett and right to our hearts. The stall training video was amazing. That girl is coming along. She was a rock star! Makes me believe in the animal spirits in the right hands. ❤
CC did a wonderful job with him and all her animals...she is so caring in their diet and welfare. I lived in Helena, Montana for a few years and loved it...the parks, and city is so well laid out and fun to walk as you can see many beautiful things and homes...I lived near the Myrna Loy theatre and museum, she was a favorite actress of mine and was intelligent and had a lovely sense of humor...I still love her movies.
Our animal partners know when we are sad, happy, mad or distracted. They tune in a lot more than we give them credit for. We all miss Skelly. He was quite a character. 😊❤
dear CC, what a nice memory of Skeletor... I miss him. when you have really loved an animal, you have to nibble hard at the fact that it just wasn't meant to be. he was such a good boy.
Perhaps, one day, after emotions have settled, there can be a Skeletor tribute video. Shame his journey had to end so early. But he lives on in our memory.
I think she was coming to you for reassurance with all the chainsaws in the background. It’s really sweet to see her bonding with you when she was literally wild. Shes simply gorgeous. Made me very emotional seeing the montage it’s so great you have the channel and a record of so many wonderful memories of Skeletor.

Speaking of CC's "committment to her kids"... this is truly remarkable. She has created an entire program from the extreme passion in her heart to give last chance horses another chance. And, she dutifully takes on all resposibility, tasks, and care for these worthy creatures. It absolutely is amazing! This channel is bringing you comfort and connection 😊 Be well!
I’m so glad you shared Skelly’s playing with the ball…I loved his gentle nature and how handsome he was ❤❤ He had so much to live for, being loved 🥰
I miss seeing him even now, but I know he’s playing with his ball in horse heaven, bless you CC 🙏💯💗💗💗
Scarlet’s coat is so beautiful. It looks so soft and shiny.
I love her blonde mane, it just contrasts so beautifully with her coat ❤
What a lovely video..scarlet is doing so well..and i like to think of the skeletor footage as a tribute to him. 😊
Lovely to see Skeletor again - and excellent cross clipping. Made my eyes water. And again, great job nudging Scarlett. She will grow up to be such a lovely horse - and TALL! 😀
Scarlet is really growing up to be a pretty mare.
Skel!! Thanks for sharing the clips! I miss him so much! I know you do too. Keep doing what you do!
00:09 any baby pictures of Frisco Bill? He is a wonderful horse! 💕 He’s so smitten on frisky gorgeous Prim. 💕
Scarlett is a very bright star, she has that curious playful nature. With your calm & consistent manner of training she will gain her confidence more & more. I think she's very brave ... and will be 16 hands! There's your athlete Clever ... ❤
At least this ole boy got some exercise! 😂
Good job with Scarlett!!! She did it thanks to your calm persistence.
Enjoying the journey of Scarlet! Sending nothing but good vibes to you & the herd!
What a good girl!!! I like the way she keeps returning to you.
Loved watching Scarlett being a brave young mare! She has came so far! ❤
Your patience with Scarlet is saintly! I’m so glad to see her moving forward!❤️
Im still so sad over Skelly's passing, he had my heart. But it helps to see all your other babies doing so wonderfully ❤. Frisco Bill was so funny running back and forth between "his" two girls. I love it XD.
Way to go Scarlet! Thanks Frisco Bill for being a good buddy to Scarlet! CC your patience is phenomenal and shows great results with your horses!
I had high hopes for Skeltor he had such a great personality that I knew he was going to be a fun horse to ride I miss him to
It's 7am here in Switzerland, and I just enjoyed my breakfast with this beautiful video.
This is amazing to watch, thank you. Frisco Bill is an amazing horse, so wonderful. Yes, I hoped and hoped for Skeletor too, am very sad.
We all miss Skelly but we treasure the memories
I think speaking about Skeletor and remembering him is a wonderful thing. I did get teary-eyed seeing him play with his ball as Scarlett was checking his ball out. He will always be a big part of your life and your channel. ❤ Scarlett is beautiful! Thanks for the video CC. 🐎🥕❤️ Nigel is such a goofball 😂
Knowing NOTHING about Scarlett,-- in 2years, under YOUR Care,-- she is going to be Stunning, Physically. Perfect color. Flashy even.
I hope you can bring her personality Up and Out,-- and Like It 😊❤️😊
You should watch the video when CC got Scarlett - the progress that baby horse already made is absolutely stunning 😍
@@pretzel2272 Huge Fan here for sure!!!
That was AWESOME! Good job Scarlet! Frisco Bill is a wonderfully calming influence! CC's patience is next-level amazing! ❤
Scarlett has come so far. She is just stunning, and it will be exviting to see her continuing progress.
maybe only man watching but did a bunch of riding in Wyoming years ago
... saw a lone horse in a field playing with a large tumbleweed... filed as a good memory...
Our animal partners know when we are sad, happy, mad or distracted. They tune in a lot more than we give them credit for. We all miss Skelly. He was quite a character. 😊❤
Scarlet is beautiful! We will have to rename Ziggy to Piggy because he messes up his stall so quickly! Love all the horses!
I am never bored with your videos. They are so fascinating & full of interesting information that the video is over faster.
dear CC, what a nice memory of Skeletor... I miss him. when you have really loved an animal, you have to nibble hard at the fact that it just wasn't meant to be. he was such a good boy.
sweet girl🐴🐴
Perhaps, one day, after emotions have settled, there can be a Skeletor tribute video. Shame his journey had to end so early. But he lives on in our memory.
Yes please!
Such a brave girl Scarlett
I think she was coming to you for reassurance with all the chainsaws in the background. It’s really sweet to see her bonding with you when she was literally wild. Shes simply gorgeous. Made me very emotional seeing the montage it’s so great you have the channel and a record of so many wonderful memories of Skeletor.
