Woman, these are your horses. You see, touch smell, feed, etc., every one of them. You know what is best for them. Yours is the decision that matters 🌺
I’m surprised and sad to hear that some of your viewers are giving you grief about not riding the horses! Almost all of your horses are high maintenance and, understandably, your focus is on their wellbeing which equals lots of work. Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems to me that your call is to get them well, keep them healthy, handle them gently so that they learn and trust taking guidance from a human after being harmed by humans in the past. Ergo…riding is not a priority.
My friend and I boarded our horses at a facility. We rode every evening. I was new to boarding always having kept my horses at home and I warned her that having her horses at home would mean less riding. Eventually we took our horses home and the focus definitely shifted from riding to cleaning the barn, feeding, hoof trimming, vet care and sourcing feed and bedding. Suddenly we found no time for riding. CC has 13 horses and a limited amount of time and energy. She does an amazing job all by herself.
It wouldn’t matter what she did, if she was riding the horses, there would be people giving grief about not maintaining them. Basically it gets down to some people look to see the sunshine in the sky others search for black clouds.
Exactly! It's amazing how hateful and judgemental and entitled some people feel. It's also amazing that there seem to be a few that cannot comprehend these videos are a couple minutes out of a 24 hour/7 day a week reality! Isn't it sad? We don't live here, we don't know details, we aren't doing the work, and NO ONE is entitled to mistreat another especially her. She has such a kind heart and she is working so hard to give these babies a good life! She knows what she's doing. These are the same ones that would throw a fit if she was riding saying she shouldn't be on these horses. There is no satisfying for some people. What miserable lives they have. Thank you for your kindness! Have a great weekend my friend!
@@redeyedmongoose2963 you are 100% right. You can't satisfy jealous, hateful, judgemental people. They aren't giving their heart and lives to help save, rescue, and HEAL these babies. Isn't that such a sad existence! Be blessed, have a wonderful and safe weekend my friend!
Your stewardship is so satisfying to observe. I wish more owners were as concerned about proper nutrition, floating and hoof care, and less interested in flashy tack and competitions. Your horses are lucky to have you!
I just love how a lot of people seem to rate a horseman’s/horsewoman’s worth or training on riding a horse. You do massive amounts a training with all of your horses every single day when you interact with them. That training is invaluable! You just keep doing your thing, getting your chores done and enjoying your horses. You are awesome!
Someone made a negative comment about you "not riding". Just want to say that riders are a dime a dozen, but horsemen and horsewomen are rare, few and far between. I watch your videos because you are in the latter category. Caring for horses is what a horse person does with 90% of their time with them. Well done!!! 😊❤
Don't listen to any of the gripers, you have a terrific work ethic, and things get done when they get done. When you don't have huge deadlines, you don't have to push the training. Just stay yourself, I really enjoy sharing your time and expertise with the horses.
I know you are working like crazy, but these videos are my last thing at night relaxation. I love seeing your horses, Tiny, Huckleberry and Ragnar when he shows up. It's such a different, slice of life from somewhere else in the world (I'm in the UK) and yet so relateable in many ways. Thank you for posting these lovely every day moments.
I hope you don't let people who say you don't ride enough get to you. What are we all doing, but sitting on our butts watching you work hard every day! Of course you will get the best training results with horses that have excellent care first, and that is what you are providing. You'll ride when it works for you and your horses, and that's what we're here to support!
Ignore the buffons commenting on you not riding. I'm sure there are plenty of horse channels where they can watch people who think riding is more important than getting done what needs to be done. Love the comical musical interludes. ❤
When you spend your life working and training with horses you can’t allow what city slickers say to bother you. Ignore them since they have no idea what’s going on. They also have no idea about horses.
All those critics must lead perfect lives in friction-free environments, where nothing unexpected ever happens. How nice for them! The rest of us just do the best we can. It seems to me that CC is among the best at doing the best she can. It's a pleasure to join her, whatever she's doing.
You work so hard all day long nonstop! I don't know how you do it, my God! All the horses are looking handsome and healthy! I love your channel and enjoy getting to know you and the boys every day. God bless you for all you do 🙏🥰
Your videos enrich my life. I'm a country woman stuck in the city for the time being. I absolutely love your way with your family of horses, Tiny, Huckleberry and even the little birds. Lots of love from us all. ❤
Sometimes, you just need to make repairs and do chores. That's the reality of owning horses. We had 40 Arabians with lunge ring, exercise ring, show ring, walker, two barns, tac room, feed room, two hay lofts and more. It was my job to get the chores done. Those days are gone, but you bring me back. Enjoy the care and dedication you have for your horses.
Wow! That was a lot to keep up with. We only had one barn that was filled with dairy cows! Lol. Always wanted a horse then and still do! Dad thought I'd outgrow it. Hahaha. Nope.

I don’t tend to read many of the comments, but I gather that there has been a fair bit of complaints about not training/riding, When you’re a one woman show, it’s kind of hard to get anything but chores done, especially after a harsh winter. You just keep doing what you’re doing, and I’ll keep watching and wishing I could be there to help muck stalls. :) and if those folks are comparing you to Shea over at Free Spirit Equestrian, it’s like apples and oranges. She has a tenth the acres, 3 times as many helpers and no special needs horses. I like your channel because you’re so down to earth and remind me of my youth.
If people want to watch horse riding, I am sure there are lots of other channels out there. I love to see how you look after these different horses and cater to their various needs. 🐎😁👍🇦🇺
The tools chosen in any occupation are a telling sign of their work product done together. I was impressed in my younger years by how working buckeroo’s would spare no expense for what they used and needed for their work and tack. It is a lesson I never forgot to appreciate. ⾺
I tell you this all the time, but I enjoy your videos so much. I learn something every single time. I laughed out loud when you said organizing the horses for the summer was "like tetris with horses" 😂😂. I'm a retired teacher and I can identify! That wooded area is so beautiful, cool green and inviting! Reminds me of my grandparents' ranch, all prairie except for a low area with his alfalfa field, a creek with a beaver lodge and surrounded by tall trees. Heavenly! Your horses are treated like royalty and many would be sold for meat if not for you. With your training and attention to their health they are obviously happy horses. When and how often you ride them is entirely up to your judgement, not to random viewers of your channel! 🍃🌿🍃

I’m so happy when you drop a video! You are so amazing with your ponies and you can tell how happy they are! What a hardworking person you are !! Keep up the great work! I’m excited to see ziggy and skelator together!! ❤
You have a massive amount of things to do and do them well, so I think you do just fine. You will ride when the time is right for you and for the horses.
I watch other horse channels, but this is far and away my favorite. I love the down to earth narration with the occasional comic relief interlude. The focus is on the horses and all the hard work that goes into taking care of them. There is no way I would last a day in CC's shoes.
Please do not let any negative comments get to you. You are 1 of the very few amazing animal owners/carers and I always look forward to watching your videos. I love the way you care and put your animals needs FIRST♥️🩷
You are doing a great job with your horses. Ignore foolish commentors who don't seem to understand your program and goals. You are to be commended. You go, girl.
So much work but yes, mowing grass by the light of a full moon is quite something. There are times, after seeing you work so hard that I’m almost physically tired myself. Going to be fun seeing Skeletor’s reaction.
CC, you’re so good at mind reading your animals. It’s fun to hear you speak for them. You do a great job keeping the pastures neat and cleam. Such a strong work ethic!
This was lovely hanging out with you. Montana is so gorgeous! Love that Stud Man and Whiplash are making friends 😊Every time I see Whiplash his beautiful bay coat looks even prettier! Your horses glow with health. Love Tiny hanging out in Nigel’s pen. Too cute. Thanks for patiently waiting on the horse trailer baby birds and for looking out for those tiny killdeers. You’re the best CC! ❤
Just a normal, run of the mill day in the life of Clever Cowgirl....you accomplish more in one day than most people do in a week! A woman's work is never done. Your new mower is fantastic. I always long to be riding one when I see big, beautiful fields. Have to say, your 'shorts' are just terrific and the music is always so good (can't submit comments on those shorts, so doing it now!).
You can comment on shorts, but there's a trick. Scroll CC's video up, then pull it down again. That usually gives you a menu to "like, dislike, comment or share". Works for my phone anyway.
Keep up the great work Clever I'm never bored watching you with your strategic & gifted care of your horses. Strangers are strange ... indeed especially the bossy kind. Let the noisy bunch go to some auctions and hell fire go ahead jump right on those horses! Do Not check their hooves, spine, teeth, or over all condition. Do Not spend time exercising, farrier work, feed and fiquring out whats between the ears of a horse or if they were abused etc. But go ahead noisy bunch hope your not bucked off because you didn't take the time ( months) to give a horse proper care and time. Giddy up first timers throw a leg over ... we are all waiting for your video's see ya in the ER!
Thanks for explaining work patterns, based on Montana weather. I remember Barry Hook saying that the training done while doing chores and other activities was vital for teaching skills and manners. You always pay attention when working. Best wishes. You had a long day.
The whole place looks great! The horses are all shiny, Love Tiny and Huckleberry. I really enjoy the entire content of your videos. I’m not a person who rides horses so seeing you interact and care for them has more value to me than seeing you ride them. Thanks for sharing your life in gorgeous Montana!
I love watching you work the ranch and tend to the horses, that is the draw for me. Ride don’t ride, I learn so much watching your day to do day. I already know how to ride, nothing new there. I am amazed at how much you know like the sugar in the grass. My friend just puts her horses out all day on the grass because it is cheaper. She has never had her hay checked or any of the things I have learned from you. Just keep being you and you will get the right crowd to watch.
I have never owned a horse and have probably only ridden a horse about 15 times in my life but when I talked to someone that had a horse when she was younger, about 30 to 35 years ago, she had never heard about the sugar levels in grass. She said they just put their horse out on pasture in the summer. I sent her the link to Nigel’s short video when he is prancing around . She loved it so she sent it to her mom.
Maybe some viewers would like to see you ride more but I just enjoy watching you doing the chores and the care of the horses. Studmans glueon shoes, the mash for Frisco and Nigel, the ration balancer. Mowing the grass in the evening with headlights. Gotta love it. Mucking stalls and sweeping the barn aisle all bring with it their own joy. I think it's just being in the presence of such magnificent creatures that bring me the most peace and joy. I've been there. Love your channel. Ride when you can.
You have the kidest, most thoughtful heart! I TRULY enjoy your videos and listening to you talk. Its like sitting at the table with a cup of coffee, just chatting with a Friend and as a watcher, that is so awesome and it makes me want to watch so much I actually look for your videos instead of waiting for a notification. Thank you for letting us tag along and teaching us as well as sharing. Be blessed my friend, as always, Great Post!
Hopefully he just needed some time to RELAX!!! And not be worked into the ground. 😊 Seriously hoping that he and Skeletor get along!!! So glad Whoever sold him, -- and that he won the lottery and landed HERE!!! His quarantine pen met EvErY guideline as far as a place to just CHILL!!! Super cool that he had the neighbors horse as perfect company. Love This!!!
Thank you 🌸 for all your time and effort you put into explaining to us what you do and why with the farm ☘🌿🌱 and your precious loved furbabies. 🐎 🐈 🐕 The little birds🕊 are a bonus.❤
I broke my hand the other day but was so adamant to comment I used the voice dictate just so I could tell you how amazing you are CC. Your work ethic is top notch and those horses look amazing. Ignore those trolls❤😂
This was a fun segment, seeing everything that has to happen to change over to summer! Some sections of the country are fully into the deep heat of Summer and people watching from those areas probably don’t really understand nights still in the 40s at the end of June! You do a great job, and honest seeing you ride a horse wouldn’t improve my experience. 💕😸
Enjoyed your show tonight. I have a hint now that the little birds are gone and out of your trailer, you can do what I have done before and take you a piece of thicker plywood. Have it screwed into place paint it gray and sealed that off they’ll be a little irritated, but they’ll find another place to have the nest. I had a duck in my front yard near the door and I didn’t catch it before she laid all her eggs, sometimes it’s hard to be held hostage so I would try that it’s a simple fix. Thank you.
I really do love your videos! I thought that all the recording you do during your chores must really slow you down. The horses look beautiful, shiny and healthy. You’re so conscientious about all the animals, and they are lucky to be in your care. Work does have to come before play, and I understand about not having much time to ride. We all need to take a chill pill & patiently wait for that magical time. 😊❤
Pretty cool mower you got. I am sure it will cut down on the time you spend mowing and keeping your place tidy. I cant wait for Skeletor and Ziggy to meet and hopefully they will get along. Scarlet really looked pretty in this video, she is sure growing.
I'm a firm believer that training starts on the ground, and continues on the ground as long as you own the horse. You are amazing, you have most certainly forgotten more about training than most people will ever know. You rock:-)
Wow!!! That was a really, long day!!! You stayed busy the whole time, too!! You seem to thrive on it tho, so guess it's not a bad thing. Glad we got to see your mower - looks like a really good one. I love mowing too, but we only have 3 acres, so not as big as your place...Can't wait to see how Skelly and Ziggy do together. Hope you can film it! Love what you are sharing with us these days. Thanks for taking us along!!! ❤❤❤
The quarantine pen is in such a pretty spot, with the trees and lush grass!. You work so hard for the benefit, health, and happiness of all your animals I get tired just watching you! Cool new mower. So nice to have a bomb-proof horse like the lovely Ziggy! Skeletor is just stunning looking.
It is not a surprise that video documenting your chores, not even considering the editing and added audio dialogue, can be redundant in comparison to other things you explain on your day’s work. The knowledge of knowing your horses makes the choice of how to separate them paramount to what may appear a simple task, but is really skilled labor as is the choice of wire for closures and ‘caps’ on fence posts. It makes all the work shown well done. Your channel states you are both clever and a top-hand cowgirl or buckeroo, but your ability to communicate using 21st century media makes you an artist as well. Both together are outstanding. 👍
I appreciate that you show how much work is involved in taking care of your beautiful horses. Not many people realize the dedication you have for their health and well being.

Some people are misanthropes who cannot stand to see decent people doing anything really. Ignore them, you do you and thank you for taking us along on your journey. I am sure I speak for many when I say your video's enrich our lives. Thank you!
❤ I appreciate you taking the time to share!
I love horses
That skyline shows up in my dreams 😊.
It's beautiful, isn't it
I watch other horse channels, but this is far and away my favorite.
I love the way you care and put your animals needs FIRST♥️🩷
Tiny snuggling in Nigels pen :P
You are doing a great job with your horses. Ignore foolish commentors who don't seem to understand your program and goals. You are to be commended. You go, girl.
So much work but yes, mowing grass by the light of a full moon is quite something. There are times, after seeing you work so hard that I’m almost physically tired myself. Going to be fun seeing Skeletor’s reaction.
I am exhausted after watching her.
By the way Skeletor looks FABULOUS darlin! ❤
You do so much! Can’t wait to see Skelletor and Ziggy together!
CC, you’re so good at mind reading your animals. It’s fun to hear you speak for them. You do a great job keeping the pastures neat and cleam. Such a strong work ethic!
Always nice to spend a beautiful day in Montana with you and the horses 🙏❤️🕊️
This was lovely hanging out with you. Montana is so gorgeous! Love that Stud Man and Whiplash are making friends 😊Every time I see Whiplash his beautiful bay coat looks even prettier! Your horses glow with health. Love Tiny hanging out in Nigel’s pen. Too cute. Thanks for patiently waiting on the horse trailer baby birds and for looking out for those tiny killdeers. You’re the best CC! ❤
Whoa. That new mower is awesome.
Thanks for sharing your day again CC! Can’t wait to see how Skeletor and Ziggy do together! 💙💙💙
Yes, we're really looking forward to that!😍
Just a normal, run of the mill day in the life of Clever Cowgirl....you accomplish more in one day than most people do in a week!
That looked exhausting.
I wish I had half your energy .
MAN ALIVE, that GRASS sure got tall.......lovely piece of land with water and shade, a real oasis.
The zero turn mowers are too much fun. 😅
😄 Lols 😰🤕
Thanks for explaining work patterns, based on Montana weather. I remember Barry Hook saying that the training done while doing chores and other activities was vital for teaching skills and manners. You always pay attention when working. Best wishes. You had a long day.
The sad thing is that winter comes early there and so there are few months with less workload
Hi Clever.
Summer looks beautiful at your place.
Horses agree.
Tiny agrees.
Huckleberry agrees.❤
Hi Clever. 82.1 K. You gonna make it soon. 7 weeks to 100k. . ❤
Woohoo! 🎉
@@SunnySunshineField my prediction is Aug 21st. The day she hits 100K..
I really hope Skeletor heals enough for your to ride him. He’s so strong and he’s gonna be your BABY.
You sure look like you are having a whole of fun cutting those long grasses.
I have mowed by the light of the moon myself. It is always cooler at that time ⏲️... I'm glad I'm not the only one. ❤❤❤😊
Well said! ❤
You need to rig up something so that Tiny can turn the shakey plates on herself lol
I'd be afraid she would invite other animals over
awe, i love Frisco & the allowed freedom he deserves, his eye is so loving. blessings n stay kind.
Ziggy is looking so much better, he looks loved and cared for
Hopefully he just needed some time to RELAX!!! And not be worked into the ground. 😊 Seriously hoping that he and Skeletor get along!!!
So glad Whoever sold him, -- and that he won the lottery
and landed HERE!!!
The little birds🕊 are a bonus.❤
I broke my hand the other day but was so adamant to comment I used the voice dictate just so I could tell you how amazing you are CC. Your work ethic is top notch and those horses look amazing. Ignore those trolls❤😂
This was a fun segment, seeing everything that has to happen to change over to summer! Some sections of the country are fully into the deep heat of Summer and people watching from those areas probably don’t really understand nights still in the 40s at the end of June! You do a great job, and honest seeing you ride a horse wouldn’t improve my experience. 💕😸
I am amazed to see how much you do from early till late! You GO Girl. 😃
Thank you.
The look Gus gave you when you said in your voice over that you would need to fix the fence that night was, Oh Man! You are spoiling my fun mom.
Aww man Montana is really gorgeous to look at in your videos. I watching your videos too ❤. Nancy from southern NJ. ❤ Lucky Clever Cow Girl.
You have your hands full keeping up with all your chores! You do a great job with it all an taking care of the horses ❤
You rock:-)
The property looks like it's on a different planet compared to how it looks in the winter! It's so nice to see so much green 💚🌱🍀
So excited to see Skeletor and Ziggy meet!! Can't wait for the next one!
Good evening, cowgirl, and beautiful horses, and all the fur babies❤
Love killdeer ❤.
Fun to see ghem in your pen. I don't see them around here as often as I used to.
You're amazing. I totally enjoy seeing your bond with the horses. I grew up with horses and miss them. I can live vicariously through your videos.
It is not a surprise that video documenting your chores, not even considering
the editing and added audio dialogue, can be redundant in comparison to other
things you explain on your day’s work.
The knowledge of knowing your horses makes the choice of how to separate
them paramount to what may appear a simple task, but is really skilled labor
as is the choice of wire for closures and ‘caps’ on fence posts. It makes all the
work shown well done.
Your channel states you are both clever and a top-hand cowgirl or buckeroo,
but your ability to communicate using 21st century media makes you an artist as well.
Both together are outstanding. 👍
This is a great comment!!
I appreciate that you show how much work is involved in taking care of your beautiful horses. Not many people realize the dedication you have for their health and well being.
Skeletor looks amazing !
Skeletor is magnificent!
Goodevening Clever Cowgirl!❤❤❤❤❤
You definitely have been doing a fantastic job, keep up your wonderful work w/ your horses!❤❤❤
Gus is a clever boy! 😂 ❤❤❤
Skeletor is looking real good, thanks to you honey! Great job!❤❤❤❤
