I know she rehomes horses, but I was kind of hoping Ziggy would be a lifer like Nigel. It will be a sad day when Ziggy goes to his new home,😢but that will mean there’s another opening for another horse in need😊
I think I will share your videos with my husband. He gets very stressed about animals being distressed by ppl, he can't watch animal rescues at all but your channel is so much about gentle rehab and your voice and demeanor are so soothing, and the horses obviously love you, I think he might like your channel.
Clever Cowgirl always has the most informative videos that educate people about taking care of horses the right way. There are videos out there that basically are all about the person doing the videos and not about the horses, Free Spirit Equestrian is a prime example, the camera is hardly taken off her, she rarely goes to auctions whereas Clever Cowgirl always gets her horses from, the only horse to my knowledge that she bought from a private party is Frisco Bill. If you have followed her you have seen the deplorable shape they were in, if she had not gotten they would not be alive and on some ones belly or dinner plate. Especially poor little Nigel, he was in very rough shape, broken jaw, infected teeth. Now look at him, its like C C calls him is a little turd which shows how far he has come. I do love him, such a feisty little guy for 30 years old.
The last time I have tried to recommend those in this channel's comment section my comment has gotten shadow-blocked, so I hope that I will not get on CC's bad side by doing it once again. You may want to check out Stable Horse Training, Shelby Dennis and Animal Cracker: Dr. Doug Willen. All the best to you and your husband.
With all these video spotlights, selling Ziggy should be super easy. Hopefully, he'll get someone who really appreciates him & cares about his happiness.
I’m not sure if it’s because we see Ziggy here in a pen closer to the other horses, but he sure looks a lot more comfortable in this pen, than the other one (with the Mare) circling around his pen. He sure is a looker! CC, you sure do a great job of looking after your horses.
He seemed so lonely to me when he was in the quarantine location. I'm happy to see him closer to the gang. He's so sweet that I wouldn't be able to let him go if I was Clever Cowgirl.
Besides the obvious beauty of Ziggy (his "flea-bites" are so more pronounced now that he gets better nutrition and grooming); he is such an adaptable and willing good boy. Sure the round-pen mare was an annoyance, but he just basically ignored her. Sure, Skelly was acting mare-crazy, but Ziggy just kept distancing himself. He is a real team player who does his very best to just get along. Luckily CC is smarter than the average equine manager and took Ziggy's preferences into account and now he is in a more ideal situation for his personality. What a sweet, handsome boy.
It will be a sad day for all of us when Ziggy goes on to his new home. But we will feel good, knowing that you have placed him in the best possible situation for him....
I shall be so sad to see Ziggy go - for some reason I just love this little horse. There is something about him that is heart-warming. Thank you for another lovely video - a treat as always.
Someone is going to be so lucky to get him. There's not a trace of unpleasantness in that horse. You could trust him to bring your teenager home 😂 safe every time.
Arabians (and some other breeds) are long lived. If healthy they can be ridden safely into their senior years bearing in mind what is age appropriate for them. My cousins had an old flea bitten grey who was "ridden" well into his 30's by all the kids. He would amble up the fence and Dad would put me up on his back while everyone rode the younger horses. He really only moved (or sometimes stood) a few feet at time but thoroughly enjoyed babysitting the smallest children. He was a kind old soul and much loved.
Such TLC for Ziggy - He started that time because he doesn't want to move back - He wants to stay put! How great you are to tend to his feet and legs on your own!
I would love to give Ziggy a home. I’m in Oregon and I have two older horses that could use another pasture pal. I’d love to have him for my granddaughter to ride the trails with us.

@@TheCleverCowgirl Another side of this is that it would deprive other people from having those safe easy keepers (especially children). They deserve to know the love and joy of horse ownership too. Oh, such a soothing video. Ziggy is starting to look so content and relaxed. I'll be sad when he leaves, but I hope he has the best life with lots of love when he does.
Ziggy is such a beautiful horse, and such an easygoing one. I will hate to see him go when the time comes, because I have fallen in love with him already. I look forward to seeing him more than any of the others now. I will just have to enjoy him while he is there.
It seriously seems like Nigel eats more than all of the other horses even though he's the smallest 😂 But I think that's just because of the number of meals, and not the total amount.
I just love seeing someone who is so calm, kind, attuned to her creatures. Nice relaxing way for me to remember all the many years I had horses and lived well out in the country. I also look forward to seeing updates (especially little sweatheart Ziggy). Happy Summer to you as well.
I like a dog training challenge as well, when Maxine came along, she was everything I wanted plus a laundry list of issues. I said no to fostering and adopted her straight away and got to work. She is turning out to be a wonderful dog.
Ziggy would be a lovely mount for an older rider. I can see him with a petite lady who wants a quiet horse for relaxing trail rides and comforting companionship. He would be the ideal equine partner for someone looking for a horse to grow old together.
I can just see the happy eyes of some girl whose grandparents promised her an Arabian. He seems to be compliant and very easy on the eyes. Very clever of you, cowgirl!

Oh, such a soothing video. Ziggy is starting to look so content and relaxed. I'll be sad when he leaves, but I hope he has the best life with lots of love when he does.
He’s just adorable… what a good boy♥️thank you for taking care of him so well♥️🙋♀️☮️
I have not seen anyone bathe a horse in that manner. How loving, kind and no fear method. As usual, i learned something valuable from you, CC.
Ziggy is such a beautiful horse, and such an easygoing one. I will hate to see him go when the time comes, because I have fallen in love with him already. I look forward to seeing him more than any of the others now. I will just have to enjoy him while he is there.
Zig would be some little girl’s dream pony.
Arabs are the coolest and friendliest horses so much personality. They’re great horses. Was my first horse and have the best memories with that horse.
Nigel eating his mash :P
It seriously seems like Nigel eats more than all of the other horses even though he's the smallest 😂 But I think that's just because of the number of meals, and not the total amount.
Heyhay everyone 🙋🏻♀️
I love knowing there will be an update on your animals! Happy Summer everyone!
I just love seeing someone who is so calm, kind, attuned to her creatures. Nice relaxing way for me to remember all the many years I had horses and lived well out in the country. I also look forward to seeing updates (especially little sweatheart Ziggy). Happy Summer to you as well.
@@janey1098 ❤️ Me too- I watch to remember my beautiful horses and it’s very lovely community here!
He's an Arabian Prince!
I like a dog training challenge as well, when Maxine came along, she was everything I wanted plus a laundry list of issues. I said no to fostering and adopted her straight away and got to work. She is turning out to be a wonderful dog.
A calm horse like Ziggy is such a treasure ❤
Ziggy really is much more relaxed in the new area.
Tiny!!! ❤
With all the horses in these videos...we often forget the love and care that it takes to make em look and shine the best...inside and out..great job cowgirl! Z man and da boys really appreciate yah oh and da girls..lol
Thanks for sharing
Ziggy is such a lovely calm horse he doesn't make any fuss about anything you want to do with him, I love your videos and look forward to them especially if Nigel is the 'star' ❤ 🐎
Awe!! Ziggy is so sweet...he loved his spa day! I'm glad he"s over at the barn now.
Hey from N.C. Love your videos.

🌅 Great Spa Ziggy looks great! Always appreciate sharing what you know, Thank you! Each horse is an individual and you always acknowledge that. Looking forward to seeing them worked🐎 Ziggy will go to a great home, awesome!
Good evening all I'm late, will go back to the beginning 😢
Clearly your vocation...the job to which you have been called, it to be the guardian angel to horses that need you.
Ziggy so nice and calm. Can see why CC likes you so much. Great!
