As always, this Norwegian is living in a different time zone (damn you physics and basic reality 😀) Go Scarlet! and make me smile with tomorrow's morning coffee, please. I hope you will make a little "neigh" to remind the two-legged clever human calling herself a "cowgirl" that the same "horsewoman" is making people happy all over the planet with her small documentary-film collaborations created with you and all the other 4-legged creatures that we get to meet, know and adore. Thank you, be brave and make me happy during Saturday morning coffee joy Scarlet.
One must admire Nigel, defeater of all methods to make him cleaner, warmer, more comfortable. He's a durable little guy. Scarlet is beautiful. Her mane has lightened to such a pretty color. She's a smart cookie. I bet she'll get the hang of going into and out of the stall soon.
I was wondering if it would help Scarlett if you would show her how you get over that high step by using an example of you taking big steps over the obstacle a few times while she is watching how you do it. Please don't take this as anything other than something that popped into my mind...
I would tap my own feet on an obstacle while leading them over, and the horses seemed to respect/appreciate that I was warning them about it. They are really smart, but their values and perceptions are so different. They have no value or concept of time. All is in the moment.
I can't believe anyone is criticising you for the way you are training Scarlet! I am so impressed by your extraordinary patience and your compassion with your horses, and training Scarlet will simply take as long as it takes! Trying to hurry the training would be like forcefully opening the flower petals of a bud; it will do no good at all! I've been watching your wonderful videos for a long time from Sweden. Thank you!
"unplanned dismount," laughed my ass off. Only a seasoned horsewoman would appreciate that. You are a wonderful advocate for learning about horse psychology and it is obvious you chose and are executing your college background well. Thanks for taking us on your day's activities.
I’m glad we got to see one of Scarlets fear issues. You were so good with her, staying calm while showing leadership, which helped her finally enter the stall.
I've been watching since you brought Scarlet home and don't usually comment, but you have brought her along so far! You deserve a big pat on the back for gentleing her so patiently and always with kindness. I love your chanel ❤
Cracking up on Nigel wearing his blanket like a napkin elegantly draped around his neck…he really got ideas😂😂😂❤ I think Ziggy is so happy having the comfort of a Stall and the choice and attention…what a lovely chap❤
Scarlet is looking so grown up, and her mane has turned a beautiful flaxen color. She's a lucky gal to have a patient caregiver and two handsome guys in the stalls next to her. ❤
I really love these slice of your life videos - - hearing you share your thoughts - reflecting on plans - best laid and constantly adjusting - - You work very hard and I respect that. The mountains are so wonderful to see. Best Regards to your herd and More Power To You.
I admire your horsemanship! Plenty of people would have lost their cool with Scarlet. But both you and her kept cooperating ❤ I almost clapped when she stumbled over that step - brave girl Scarlet 💪
Unplanned dismount 🥰🥰🥰. There is film of me (73 yr old now) of me riding a pony in one of those circle rides. The pony bucked, but I held on. I was tossed off of horses over the years but still, horses have been an emotional draw for me. Thanks for your willingness to chronicle your life with your critter friends.
At the risk of repeating myself, I love how patient you are with all your horses. Nigel makes me smile every time I watch your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your horse adventure with us.
"MightyMouse"' comment about Nigel being named " PigPen" was so funny, and so appropriate! I think he gets so dirty just to annoy you; at least that's what it looks like when he faces you, CC! 😄😂😍
Scarlett done so well learning that it was all ok ❤ I think Ziggy may have a calming influence on her, he seems quite happy and relaxed in his stable, so I hope it helps. Nigel just doesn't think he needs anyone to help him, but he's no spring chicken anymore. He such a stinker ❤❤❤ thankyou C.C. you are truly an amazing person ❤
Aww! My little old sassy man! He so reminds me of a kid who just has to go in a muddy puddle not around it!!! He's never going to grow up!! Thank you Sweetheart for taking such good care of these beautiful animals ! We really need more people in the world like you! Always caring and loving! As always thank you for sharing your adventures with your 4 legged children 🐎🐎🐎God Bless you Sweetheart ❤️😇😘🤠
I thought so too. Poor poppet. Everything is so scary for her. 😢 She is beyond blessed to have the patient and extraordinary CC to guide and support her on her journey.
I love the way you talk to your animals. You handled Scarlett beautifully. What good does rough handling do a frightened and confused horse other than make things worse? They are not too far removed from children. Oh Nigel, what a character!
That Nigel is a stinker!! Scarlett is looking amazing. Hopefully, she will get used to the barn/stall situation soon. You are sooooo patient with her, it is impressive.
Nigel the cantankerous ornery Irresistible old pony! He’s hilarious. Scarlet. The Little Flicka. ❤. The boys. Living the dream! What would we do without you! I can see Studman has lost weight. Thanks for the great video, CC! Have a great week - sunny skies ahead!
That Nigel is such a funny little guy. If he were the size of Scarlet, he would be a character. They are so funny, each with a little story to tell. Such a menagerie of personalities. Great video CC. Montana is beautiful in the sun, but when it is raining…we still watch.
I have certainly seen Scarlet move more graceful, but she went inside in the end! Beautiful, brave girl! Already she is looking for you and coming to greet you. I think she will be super fun to ride when she gets that far.
We've had hard frost more than once, and a few flakes here and there in our Upper Great Lakes.... Usually at least 6 inches by now, (love it!) but it's been unseasonably tricky this fall. Can't wait for winter, and my horses as well! ❄🌧 🐎🐎
I live in northeast ohio and your comment even made me shiver remembering that first bit of coldness after beautiful perfect Fall weather!! (60’s and 70’s - goodbye - very soon!!)
I love the way you are such a natural with your horses. It just blesses my heart to see such wisdom in a human being when caring for these absolutely magnificent creatures.
Are you sure Nigel isn’t at least 1/2 cat? He certainly listens just about as well as any cat I’ve ever known. (I would say owned instead of known but I’m not too sure who owned who!) 🤣
Scarlet is a beautiful mare! I so appreciate you showing patience in helping her over come her challenges. No force training can be slow in the beginning but pays off big time in solid, thinking animals.
Nigel just cracks me up! LOL. He is certainly a very independent and stubborn little dude. Great job getting Scarlett into her stall. It should be interesting to see how you get her out of there when the time comes. Looks like Pete was having one of his shy days. I think he is my favorite. I like the tall, dark and handsome ones. 😊❤

♥️what a nice comment! ☕🌻🌻🌞🙋♀️
That’s sweet 💕😀
Good morning to our Norwegian community member...for when you read replies. ☕☀️
I always blame the Space-Time Continuem. It's never right.😅
Such a sweet comment @glacieractivity. Enjoy your coffee.

If she decides she wants to.

@@ZebaKnight he's a cheeky bloody monkey
I was wondering that as well. Also wondered if a human stepping over that wld be the same to Scarlett as if another horse doing it. Just curious...

I so agree👍🙏
And Canada 😊
I had to laugh out loud when you came back to find Nigel with his blanket round his neck what a funny little rat bag 🤣🤭🤣
Same!! Determined little man!!

They say not all heroes wear capes, but Nigel does. :)
😆
It was kinda funny though, after CC came back from shopping that it was only hanging on his neck...like a necklace 🧣 😂❤❤❤❤
I’m glad we got to see one of Scarlets fear issues. You were so good with her, staying calm while showing leadership, which helped her finally enter the stall.
Wish all horses had someone as gentle and kind as you to lead their way ❤
@@kittycuddler5973 that’s a ditto.
What a brave Scarlet. She was genuinely afraid but trusts you... and it all worked out for her positive learning.
Nigel turned himself into a mud puppy and is proud of it.
Ziggy was a wise boy knowing that rain was going to be blowing in soon.
Ziggy is a clever dessert King. Rain, no thanks
Nigel was looking at Scarlett like, “who is this giant woman😦”
Chuckles 😂
Lol😂😂, that cracked me up 🤣🤣
I love Nigel's fashion sense!
He's a dapper one. Also - dappled. 😁
Rascal extraordinare Bad boy perfection
@@jasperstarr6804👍👍👍spot on!
mud night be in fashion iffen Nigel wwas a PIG.
Nigel??? You mean “Pig-pen”…(Charlie Brown). 😂🥰😂🥰😂
@@carlahauschildt6397I made a similar comment stating his nick name should be pig pen
Yes, a rare hairy spotted pig 🐗 Super character though.

When you say Nigel’s name, it has the same inflection that Jerry Seinfeld uses for ‘Newman”! 😂😂

I think Ziggy is so happy having the comfort of a Stall and the choice and attention…what a lovely chap❤
“Unplanned dismount” 😂 love that term!
Well done! You can only go as fast as your horse can go. Mustangs, esp mares, are very in to self preservation. Your patience paid off. 👍🏻
Nigel is such a character, full of sass!
As a Southern California resident, the sound of falling rain is like music to my ears. We haven’t had any rain in months and months.
Scarlet is looking so grown up, and her mane has turned a beautiful flaxen color. She's a lucky gal to have a patient caregiver and two handsome guys in the stalls next to her. ❤
CC and her adorable gang are all Stars. Love this Channel. It’s my favorite. The story-teller herself is a gem.

Here in England, and it's late. I should be asleep but going to watch CC first.💖🎠✨️🐎
Me too from Wales. But I had to see!
Nigel is just turning into a wild-at-heart pony as he ages 😊.

Not my best day and need some good energy from the horses. This channel always makes my heart happy 💙
I hope Scarlets antics cheer you up 🎉
Hugs! Hope tomorrow is spectacular!
@@Implied_ConfessionsThank you!

Hang in there! Things always seem weird when seasons change, I find.
The scenery, when it's not raining, is gorgeous . Love your patience with each horse.
Gentle persistence in the face of one strong-minded young missy. You are doing such a great job!
At the risk of repeating myself, I love how patient you are with all your horses. Nigel makes me smile every time I watch your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your horse adventure with us.
It always warms my heart when I see horses feeling good enough to play! Scarlet is growing up to be a beautiful mare! Thank you for saving her CC!
"MightyMouse"' comment about Nigel being named " PigPen" was so funny, and so appropriate! I think he gets so dirty just to annoy you; at least that's what it looks like when he faces you, CC! 😄😂😍
Nigel is such a character 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you CC! Poor sweet Scarlet! You’re doing so right by her!
Agree 100%
Scarlet was scared of that step . All the horses let out a little cheer for her once she made it into her stall. I thought that was neat.
Aww the way Pete looks so much happier and healthier than when she first got him. He loves CC but is a bit spooky.
He def has horse ptsd or trauma 😟
The state that Nigel is in after his mud bath 😂 ❤ I love that 'old stinker'
Scarlet is such a super wee girl, so many fears to conquer and so much potential 🐎🤞❤️
My favorite boy, Gus, of course, needs his own space in the run-in shed to eat his breakfast. He's a prince!
Great idea about extra obstacles to help Scarlet overcome her reluctance
Her desire to challenge herself to achieve what you ask of her is beautiful ❤
Scarlett looks so good!
I am having a very down day but I know that CC's video will pick-me-up. Looking forward to watching Scarlett and all of CC's other friends! ♥
Hugs to you! I hope it gets better!
Best wishes to you. Times are rough indeed.
Watching Clever Cowgirl is so comforting - she is such a kind and loving.
That is the truth!! CC does a great service not just to four legged critters
I hope today (Sunday here) is better for you and, if not, there's always tomorrow.
Am in Ireland - it’s very late but I’m really looking forward to seeing CC and her lovely horses - especially Scarlet ❤
I'm watching from Ireland 🇮🇪 too
Nigel is CUTE. I think you do an exemplary job with Scarlet.
Tiny is the cutest and such a talker!
Scarlett is facing her BIGGEST FEAR!! Hopefully she will conquer it!! The Clever Cowgirl has her all together ready to take her fear HEAD ON!!
Oh, that Nigel!! He's so funny!! Love it.❤

Oh dear, little Nigel 🤦♀️😅
So impressed with your patience with Scarlett entering the stall. No wonder you can do amazing things with your horses!
When she physically shook even when she was already in the stall, i was like dang, cc not lying, she really is spooky

Scarlet was so adorable when she made it over the entry. She was saying “I did It.”
That Nigel is a stinker!! Scarlett is looking amazing. Hopefully, she will get used to the barn/stall situation soon. You are sooooo patient with her, it is impressive.
