Can You Delete Instagram Messages From Both Sides

Instagram has a cool feature that lets you delete messages from both sides. That way, if you send a message that you regret, you can quickly go in and unsend the message. This deletes the text for you but also for the other person. Keep in mind, though, that the ability to unsend a message is limited to only before the other person has seen the message. If the person you sent it to, boyfriend, girlfriend, friend, etc. has already read the message, there's no way to permanently delete it from both sides. After all, the damage has been done and they've already read it. So the key here is to be quick after sending the message to unsend it! This works for iPhone and Android but also a PC!

I wish you can remove someone's message that you don't like in your conversation like you can do on Messenger and Snapchat.

This is no longer accurate, you can unsend all your messages even if the other person has seen it.

This is not all true. I had recently sent a message and the person seen it because it told me how long ago they seen it. However, I was still able to unsend. Not sure if this is because I restricted the person or because I don't follow the person. Either way I was able to unsend
