I love how humble and transparent you are in all of your videos. Shows when you throw back a fish that's technically a keeper but you don't get greedy which will pay off for you in the long run. I hope *enjoy the new camera!
Myself I was born raised HMB California , went thru high school there also. I ve done lots of fishing and Hunting especially every state connected to rocky mountain.
Aloha Adam from Hawaii. Love your videos and love Halibut.. do you or have you ever considered Shipping them out..? I’d Love to buy a 30-40 incher if you’ll ship to Kauai! Definitely Liked and Subscribed
Great video Adam. Always impressed with your ability to find the fish. Hope you catch a big Rooster fish while youre in Panama. Looking forward to the video of Panama!
Ever have two lines go off at same time? If so, ever worry about a fishing pole coming out of those holders? I’m a rookie and learning a lot from your videos! Thanks!
Cool video man! I've been lucky enough to halibut fish a couple times, including once from a kayak but we weren't trolling. We were dragging bottom with a 3-way sinker and live bait rig. Trolling on the kayak like that with the flashers sure looks like a blast! Good job handling those thresher sharks as well! Really enjoyed watching this, tight lines and be safe!
i have to say huge respect u threw that first one back cause it was fouled hook huge props most ive seen on RUclips catch fish in back or near mouth but not in mouth keep it lol due to that your awesome and just gain me as a subscriber great video by the way
So I just watched this episode and wondered about bringing a thresher into your kayak. I have caught several down here in SoCal, but got them close to the kayak to see where they are hooked, but was leery about bringing them into the kayak, cautious of their mouth and teeth. You don't seem to worried about them. And, if they are good eating, maybe worth it?
I know temp affects them but how do you know the surface temp is the same as the temp where those fish or sitting. Have you ever dived ? It’s amazing that the surface temp can be 70 and then 10 feet down you hit a wall and it drops like 10 degrees. Love the content!
where are you fishing? I'm in the SF Bay area and have been looking to maybe buy a kayak (still in highschool so farther off- but should be fun!) I would also be careful with the stringer- don't want a sea lion to come up!
Hey Adam, I love these long form videos. I know it must take a lot of effort to put together but the effect / /experience for the viewer is so great. So enjoyable to 'go fishing with you', thanks.
Bro, GREAT video! I'm up in Ukiah but I would love to come down and fish with you sometime. I've never seen someone fish flashers for hali but it seems like it definitely works!
Thanks for the information on the licenses. Right now we're trying to decide if we will be staying in Cali or moving to a different state.... family has been in Cali since the 1800s.... so it's a hard call. If we stay, I will be looking into getting a commercial license and was always curious about how to get licensed to sell private.
I used to do a ton of shark fishing when I lived on Long Island, N.Y. one trip I caught and kept a mako and a thresher. I had a bunch of friends over for a BBQ. I did a blind taste test of both sharks. Hands down the winner was the Thresher. Makos are great eating but the Thresher was even better, IMHO.
What would be the nearest city to this Adam? Always curious as I don't really recognize the stretch of coastline that you're on. Which would make me think that it's definitely South Bay as I don't ever venture down that way. Just curious, I'm boat-based and always use live and just stay in the bay or go to the north bar. What you do is interesting though.
Just hooked my first thresher from a yak today. unfortunately I didn’t land him because it took a run at me and jumped over me. I got so freaked out I almost flipped over I thought it was going to smack me in the face. After that it popped off
Hey man, how did you find places to sell your fish catches at? Do you just bring in anything and they pay you for what you bring depending what it is ? Please comment back! Would love to start what you are doing once I move to Florida !
Hey die hard I was wondering what rig you use for the halibut, whenever I use live bait it always falls off and I also normally don’t use a flasher but I’m just curious
Great video as always. I was real happy to see a long video I could watch you fish all day since most of the places I fish dried up or needs a bunch of water making it hard to fish right now since I fish freshwater. All the creeks and rivers are extremely dry and the lakes are very low.
Do you ship frozen halibut??? Or better yet Dungeons Crabs?? I would definitely buy halibut and crabs from you in NY and definitely going to be placing an order for some merch as well. But please definitely let me know if you ship fish and crabs, thanks again bro!!
How long the rope of my anchor has to be so that it reaches the bottom or from the kayak it is impossible to anchor so that the current does not carry you.
Great video, as usual, always been a fan of your work, so keep it up! Can you please share a link to the setup you are using for the Halibut, or the name and where I can buy one!? Poochie setup??!! thanks
Does larger bait weed out smaller fish. I know it does when freshwater fishing. Small bait and you will catch 4 in bluegill. Big poopper and the little ones dont even try.
Please show "bonking and bleeding". Also, I notice you are pulling up halibut after halibut, and there's no one anywhere near you! Where is this happening? I don't blame you if you don't answer. :)
So I have a question for you You must have a commercial fishing license to sell halibut or shark? So that's the only way you'd be able to sell any of the fish because you need a license to sell them. So I guess my question is do you have a commercial fishing license?
You made a comment about saving money to go on a tuna trip Now I know if you get bluefin tuna on a tuna trip down to San Diego certain carriers will buy your tuna from you but as far as I know in the state of California you need to resale license to commercially sell your fish and I know that that particular license runs about $1,000. Anyways that's my question I can't go take my halibut and just go sell them at the dock That's why I have a question about the commercial license Thanks appreciate your shows I think they're great
I love how humble and transparent you are in all of your videos. Shows when you throw back a fish that's technically a keeper but you don't get greedy which will pay off for you in the long run. I hope *enjoy the new camera!
Appreciate the support!
Would you 2 get a room...
Myself I was born raised HMB California , went thru high school there also. I ve done lots of fishing and Hunting especially every state connected to rocky mountain.
Awesome stuff, looking forward to watching footage from your Panama trip. Travel safe and tight lines man!
Can't wait to share it with all of you!
Wow on the Thresher jumps! Great that you caught one jump!
So cool Adam you've been catching some really cool species lately!!!
Thanks Nick!
Thank you Adam for all the information! You answered a lot of questions I had. Tight lines!
“It’s tempting” Plop* “That makes it easy” hahaha lmao😂
Aloha Adam from Hawaii. Love your videos and love Halibut.. do you or have you ever considered Shipping them out..? I’d Love to buy a 30-40 incher if you’ll ship to Kauai! Definitely Liked and Subscribed
That’s not a bad idea. Send me your contact info I’ll ship some to you.
Great job, Adam! Always a joy watching you fish.
I appreciate that!
Respect! Putting in work! 🤙🏼 Safe travels
Great video Adam. Always impressed with your ability to find the fish. Hope you catch a big Rooster fish while youre in Panama. Looking forward to the video of Panama!
Can't wait to share it with you!
I was watching Taku when you posted, he was just talking about fishing with you. So happy to see you Post, the Thresher was a Cool Catch.🤙🏼
Hope to fish with him again soon!
Right on, if I’m ever in the bay I know who to hit up for some fresh fish. Mahalo 🤙🏾
@16:10 that fish looks like a WW2 P-51 Mustang 😅
Adam,
You are a fishing machine.
Ever have two lines go off at same time? If so, ever worry about a fishing pole coming out of those holders? I’m a rookie and learning a lot from your videos! Thanks!

Lmao he did it becuase it was short not becuase of where it was hooked

Awesome video! I’m looking to get into trolling for halibut and salmon from my kayak. I don’t see it on your video but are you using downriggers?
nice ones, just wondering it's the same as flounder we catch here in New York ?
I use the sony zv1, great camera!! highly recommended!! Great video man, much love from the East Coast!
This is why you should wear a head camera. Would have been sick to see the fight from your prospective.
Aloha. I still don’t understand why this channel doesn’t have more subscribers. Been watching for years.
Appreciate the support!
Hey Adam, I know you caught 15 halibut in this video, but was that in a span of three days or more? Awesome vid btw 🤙
Hey Adam, I love these long form videos. I know it must take a lot of effort to put together but the effect / /experience for the viewer is so great. So enjoyable to 'go fishing with you', thanks.
Glad you like them! I'm hoping to do more moving forward!
Bro, GREAT video! I'm up in Ukiah but I would love to come down and fish with you sometime. I've never seen someone fish flashers for hali but it seems like it definitely works!
Hey Adam watch your channel all the time! How do you get that hoochie down to the bottom?
Where you generally launch on the bay, how about Cyote piont ramp
Congrats. Can't wait to see the next video.
Excellent videos
Just wondering, do you ever fall asleep when fishing for halibut when it’s quiet 😳
Super late bro but can I ask your rig set up , planning on getting a kayak soon and trying for halibut
Have a fun trip at Panama and can't wait to see your videos.
Are you anchored and letting the lures run with the current?
Thanks for the information on the licenses. Right now we're trying to decide if we will be staying in Cali or moving to a different state.... family has been in Cali since the 1800s.... so it's a hard call.

Love your videos! Thank you for not doing stupid videos on catching limits on fish every time just for clicks.
How did you bleed that thresher shark? Same as a normal fish at the artery behind the gills? Do you brain it first?
I used to do a ton of shark fishing when I lived on Long Island, N.Y. one trip I caught and kept a mako and a thresher. I had a bunch of friends over for a BBQ. I did a blind taste test of both sharks. Hands down the winner was the Thresher. Makos are great eating but the Thresher was even better, IMHO.
I've never tried Mako but I love thresher!
That’s a bad ass PFD where did you get it and how much ?
Tuna? Bonito? Where are you fishing? I thought you were in SF Bay...
the camera being discounted exactly what you were missing was very satisfying LOL
Hi, love the channel. Whet rod and reel are you using
Greetings coming from Indonesia, Aru Islands, Maluku Province, healthy greetings and greetings from fellow anglers
I really enjoy watching your videos, i love fishing but cant even catch a bluegill lately lol
Next time!
Yes !! Next time, one of the things i love most about your video's is your positive attitude.
Very kool to see thresher.

Good action! 👍
Have fun and be safe in Panama!

No halibut for me today. Very slow on sc side.
Yep, he caught all the halibut for the day 🙂
Hey die hard I was wondering what rig you use for the halibut, whenever I use live bait it always falls off and I also normally don’t use a flasher but I’m just curious
Its in the video!
What is the bag limit for halibut for commercial fisherman?
Awesome work Adam... Have fun in Panama!!
Thanks! Will do!
The thresher is one cool looking shark.
It seems to me that maybe you should catch one extra halibut and buy yourself a landing net.
Congratulations on the camera 📷
I just subscribed! God bless you! I enjoyed your video. Have a nice and safe trip. Your new friend and fan, Kevin
Great video as always!!..haven’t seen Fisherman’s Life in awhile..hope he’s okay!

What state are you from. Rivers in the West Coast are overflowing
Hopefully you get some rain again soon!
the thresher’s eyes. lolol 👀
If you have some salmon scraps like the head, it’s good for halibut bait
Looks like fun. What pole and reel/line do you use?
I'll add it to another video!
Best RUclips fisherman out there!
My favorite days are when you drop a new video.
Appreciate the kind words!
How deep is the bottom, cause it looks pretty shallow
So no one’s gonna talk abt how brodie just casually unhooks a fucking bird😭
Do you ship frozen halibut??? Or better yet Dungeons Crabs?? I would definitely buy halibut and crabs from you in NY and definitely going to be placing an order for some merch as well. But please definitely let me know if you ship fish and crabs, thanks again bro!!
Sweet you got the Camera on sale!
I was destiny!!! haha
How long the rope of my anchor has to be so that it reaches the bottom or from the kayak it is impossible to anchor so that the current does not carry you.

I'll add it to a future video!
Does larger bait weed out smaller fish. I know it does when freshwater fishing. Small bait and you will catch 4 in bluegill. Big poopper and the little ones dont even try.
Definitely!
Camera on sale! That certainly worked out!
It was meant to be!
Please show "bonking and bleeding". Also, I notice you are pulling up halibut after halibut, and there's no one anywhere near you! Where is this happening? I don't blame you if you don't answer. :)
Damn can you tell me where you sell those fish too I want to make a little to help my son.
Question do u freeze the fish then sell them or sell them right off the catch?
Where in the SF bay is this?
Add $150-200 for batteries since it's for filming. Don't forget a quality lens too for vlogging. You can rack up a bill real quick haha.
for sure!
What other ramps except alameda is good to launch for kayak fishing?
So I have a question for you You must have a commercial fishing license to sell halibut or shark? So that's the only way you'd be able to sell any of the fish because you need a license to sell them. So I guess my question is do you have a commercial fishing license?
Wondering how your re-entry went on the first day? I could hear the wind in the background. As always good video.
Luckily the swell was low so it wasn't too bad!
Great job! I been trying to fish for halibut for years and I think I’ll buy one from you since I haven’t ate a bay halibut before..
Is this in the bay? I dont recognize it at all.
Wow. Very healthy fishery
Most the time I like to go fishing for fun but sometimes I just go fishing for the halibut
Crushing it, nice work!
I haven’t looked at all the comments, so if I’m asking a question someone has already asked I apologize. What is the lure set up you are using.
Its in the video!
well done Adam. enjoy Panama.
Whats the limit on halibut with commercial fishing?
no limit, other thank the minimum size limit of 22 inches
Nice job Adam!
Nice Action!💯
Nice catching
What kind of lure is that bro
You made a comment about saving money to go on a tuna trip Now I know if you get bluefin tuna on a tuna trip down to San Diego certain carriers will buy your tuna from you but as far as I know in the state of California you need to resale license to commercially sell your fish and I know that that particular license runs about $1,000. How is there so many halibut in that area and it’s crazy how you don’t even get them on live bait lol. I wish San Diego was like that
Its a good halibut year for us!
Nice video, I enjoy your videos, I always watch them, I want to buy one of the Halibut you catch.
If you follow me on Instagram I will update on there whenever I have fish for sale!
What are those lures called?
Where do you launch from Adam?
Why does it look like you're fishing on different days on the same day? Cloudy, not cloudy, etc.
