I’ve always thought that his mask could also be something like a rebreather or some other device that helps him in some way, it could explain why is voice is so husky.
I have a suggestion for a prop to make. You could make the the Burning maul 2 handed hammer from Destiny 2. It's one of the super abilities for the titan.
Question...I did a helmet last week and used modge podge to add some hammered detail on it. Now, do I just paint over the modge or use plastidip then paint? Naturally with acrylic paints.

I can't give you an exact number as I buy most of my materials in bulk.
Template link is good. It is a pdf file, if you're trying to access it on a phone, tablet or chromebook it might not be able to because it doesn't have a pdf reader. You can download an app in your app store for it.

I think that was intended. Owls in some cultures are the heralds of death, much like Grim Reapers. I really like the game design of this character

The mod podge is a flexible sealant, as long as you got a solid coating over the whole surface, no need for plasti dip. Acrylic paint it on my friend
