I heard this bike had more mechanical frogs leaping all over it then a new york parade...lol....I read alot of issues with this bike and I really don't have alot of confidence in it; even if others do have confidence in it !! I opted to get the 2023 ducati diavel v4 which has been nothing short of spectacular. It was either the ducati diavel v4 or the 2024 bmw M1000XR :)
you should not lend your ears out - I'll give you the opportunity to list some of these many frogs. I happy you are delighted with your ducati, they are good bikes. best wishes
Sort of a late reply, but my Rocket 3 R has been awesome and absolutely trouble-free. The running costs have been far lower than my Ducatis as is insurance. I sold my xDiavel S not long ago but kept my Multistrada (for now). While these bikes are somewhat in the same class as muscle cruisers, the R3 is a better daily rider for me. The massive torque of the motor is just ever-present. You can leave it in 6th gear an almost never need to shift unless you are in a real hurry. If you are a bigger person, the R3 might be a better fit and your size will impact the performance less given its already large size. The brakes are excellent, the quick shifter is as good, if not better, than any of my Ducatis, and there is nothing else like it on the road. The one thing I did like better about my Ducs was the heat management. The R3 is a big motor but the catalytic converter is right under your butt. If you can get a slip on muffler and use it in your area, you'll vastly reduce the heat. Get TuneEcu and download the Penner tune for the 2020+ Rockets, and you'll add an instant 20+ HP at the wheel for basically free. Most people don't realize Rockets are greatly restricted from the factory. Even in the most aggressive riding mode, Triumph limits the throttle opening to about 60% of full throttle! It absolutely transforms the bike when you add a tune. It has been a long time since I've seen any bike so restricted from the factory.
@@dapperstuff go google the issues yourself ! You'll see more than your eyes can stand...lol...unless of course you are one of the 'lucky ones' who don't experience any mechanical or electrical issues with the triumph rocket 3..
I got my 23R3GT early this month and went for my first long ride to Blood Mountain 🏔️ GA. It was a great experience. I rode within my limits and the handling was so perfect..Appreciate the videos
Congrats on the ride brother! Blood mountain is a spectacular ride especially with the rocket's grunt. Respect for staying in your limits. I appreciate your support!
I'm planning on buying this bike, your videos are extremely useful from a real life day to day feel.
I appreciate them, keep them coming
Glad you like them!
