I had my dark fde Icarus Precision Ace macro xl frame and macro slide delivered yesterday. I like the newest color they have and that thing just feels great in my hand. Probably won’t get to the range till next week to test it out. I already had the Icarus Precision Ace 365 Macro subcompact frame which is made for the shorter 365X slides, and that thing shoots amazing without a comped slide.
My X Macro was kind of a DUD just based on the accuracy but I throw on the Icarus grip module the put on a True Precision barrel (not that you should have too but it was worth it for me) and now it's a damn tac driver, I love it.
@vonallison yeah we ordered a new optic but didn't arrive so we threw that one on for optics sake. Def recommend good optics.! Thanks for the watch.! Consider subbing if you haven't already.!
I really want the new Fuse, but i also want the icarus grip mod.. i have the 365 tacops version, and im having a hard time figuring out which icarus grip mod to buy.. but at the same time im still thinking about that fuse... There are so many things to consider.. if i go with the Icarus, should i get the mod that will fit a comp? Or not.. i went with the Tacops version instead of the comp version because of the extra mags, the longer barrel and because i heard the comp doesn't make a difference at all because its really not a true compensator, its just a ported slide and the longer barrel of the tacops version does as much for recoil as the fake comp does.. Id be happy to hear anyone's opinions or suggestions.. For me i want a gun that's good for carrying, home defense and something to take to the range.. and I'll admit, the look has a lot to do with it as well.. If the gun looks cool im gonna want it.. And those Icarus grip mods are cool as fuck looking.. If u could only choose one, would u just grab the Fuse or would u grab the icarus with the comp? And if u say icarus, which model would i need to match my Tacops version?
@RonnieEverette if you are referring to the fuse from Icarus we don't have any experience on it seeing as how it is still in the pre-order stages but I will say this the Ace frame that we reviewed is "Well" worth the price it carries. The tacops has a 3.7 inch barrel which should still work with the "ace" frame but don't take our word for it. I'm sure icarus precision would be more than happy to clear up any doubts you might have.! Thanks for the support.!
@PewBoiz actually I was referring to the p365 Fuse itself, not the grip module icarus is planning on making for it.. But thanks for the reply, it's a matter of choosing between the icarus mod or the P365 Fuse itself for me, for I can't afford both at this time..
@RonnieEverette gotcha. I have seen the fuse from Sig itself they are nice, that's def a healthy alternative, I personally have a wilson combat frame for my p320 xcarry and I love it. The icarus for the 320 left alot to be desired to be honest
