What makes the grip module Cal. Compliant? I was thinking it would be the mag. Thank you. Just purchased the Macro grip. I got the ambi gas pedals. Need to grind it off as it comprises my trigger finger. When i put a WC drip module on my xl i thought it was great. I now see how much better the Icarus grip is. It causes me to get high on the grip naturally. WC touched the meat of my hand but the gun could still pivot. Thank you for your video and your products.

This is Dan, I have personally carried a Macro module for several years now, as well as competed (from concealment) with Evos and Macros with the curved beavertail. I have yet to have any issue with the curved beavertail. However, our Hybrid and Elite Series, as well as our AIR Polymer modules have straight beavertails. Hope that helps!
All of the EVO modules have the same grip height which corresponds with the XL grip height. The Macro is taller to accommodate the 17 round magazines, and the only module with have that has a short grip is the Hybrid.
How about allite super magnesium? DOD Declassified it a few years back and is now available for civilian use. It's not catching on like I thought it would
Will have to take a look into it and bring it up to the manufacturing team. Not sure what the machining considerations are compared to Aluminum. But you never know, maybe it will eventually take off.
This has been a consideration, but at the present time, machining the steel is a lot more time and tool intensive. I won't say it will never happen, but experimentation with Steel has been placed on a hold as we develop new products and collaborations.

The variation comes in length of the grip and therefore magazines, and length of the slide compared to the module dust cover. So if you have an XL, the slide would sit flush with any of our XL length modules. I hope that helps.
It is definitely on our radar. The engineering and subsequent molds, etc. are quite expensive and time consuming to develop and setup for production, but it's most certainly something we're working towards.

Really disappointed I preordered the macro grip when the preorders went live. I could’ve just waited and got it from bass pro since Icarus stocked the shelves of retailers instead of sending out preorders. Jokes on all of us that preordered I guess. If you're asking if both the Evo and Macro modules will fit into a holster designed for the Icarus Macro, the answer is yes depending on dust cover length. I find the easiest way to almost guarantee a fit is to add a flashlight, but that may not be the route you desire. But the Evo and the Macro share the same thumb ledges and dust cover profiles, so as long as you correlate the correct dust cover length, you should be good to go. As far as if they will fit into a holster designed for an OEM Sig Macro is on a case by case basis depending on the holster manufacturer and how they utilize their retention. You can check with the manufacturer themselves, or you can check out some of our guaranteed fit manufacturers through our website or social media. I hope that I answered your question satisfactorily.

Because there are so many holster manufacturers and many of them utilize retention in different ways, it is very difficult for us to state which holsters will fit. What we've found is that if you add a flashlight like a streamlight TLR-7A, they tend to fit in most X Macro holsters, but if that is not what you're looking to do, you can either contact the holster manufacturer you like to ask about compatibility, or you can use one of the holster manufacturers that we know work such as Superstition Concealment, Havok Holsters, TACRIG, McKinatec, and more I'm unfortunately forgetting at the moment. Perhaps we'll try to do a video on manufacturers we've been working with.
It IS compatible, but will stick out slightly from the bottom of the magwell. The Evo series are all based upon the XL grip length, the variations are in the dust cover length which get progressively longer from X, XL and XL+
