Punjabis at large , Punjabi generals, Punjabi politicians, and Punjabi journalists have time and against disrespected the 1973 constitution. Generals have abrogated it ,trampling it under their boots while Punjabis stood behind their army. They have usurped provincial autonomy and refuse to talk to the Baluch, continue to support terrorism in KP.. Now the generals control the economy of Pakistan. They continue to commit abuses against the Baluch and continue to support terrorism in KP.
1973 constitution has lost its relevance . It sounds ironically funny that a person wining Punjab only can become the chief executive of the country.
Pakistan needs a new social contract to empower its constituent provinces.
