Travel Vlog from the trip to the Lake Königssee in the summer of 2019.

Welcome to probably the most beautiful lake in Bavaria. The lake Königssee!
A wonderful day begins with the reunion in our well-known Pension "Gregory" from the last Travel Vlog. This time we head to the "Malerwinkel" circuit on the Königssee. From the parking Königssee we go about 300 m to the boat dock "Seelände". From there a path leads us to the left past the boat sheds and the other buildings of the shipyard.
After a few meters we are in the national park. A little higher, at the Café Malerwinkel we enjoy the first view from the top of the Königssee. We continue our hike to the so-called "Malerwinkel". The "Malerwinkel" is a popular vantage point on the north shore of the Königssee. The view from the Malerwinkel over the otherwise difficult to reach Königssee reaches to St. Bartholomä on the peninsula "Hirschau". The circular route then leads through the sparse mixed forest in two wide bends to another vantage point. In light up and down and only to the end again steeper at the valley station of the "Jennerbahn" (cable railway) back to the parking lot. A beautiful forest path with impressive views of the lake Königssee.

Cozy, Bavarian and an excellent price / performance ratio! Great breakfast buffet, with everything you need. Many thanks to Christian Fuchslechner for the extremely friendly and excellent service! We felt very comfortable with you and will definitely come back!
