Travel Vlog 1 from the trip to the National Park in the Berchtesgadener Land in May 2019!

Welcome to probably the most beautiful lake in Bavaria. The Kings Lake (Königssee)! A wonderful day began with the arrival in Schönau at the Königssee. In the cozy "Pension Gregory" we have found a great place to stay. About 10 minutes away is the Königssee. Nestled between steeply rising cliffs, the emerald-green shimmering Königssee lies sheltered in the Berchtesgaden Alps. At the pier "Seelände" we start the journey by electric boat across the lake. At an average speed of 12 km / h, we glide silently and environmentally friendly across the Königssee in the direction of "St. Bartholomä". A special highlight is the "Echo of the Königssee"! About halfway to St. Bartholomä, the guests are shown the echo on the famous echo wall with a trumpet by the boatman. Known by the pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomä, lies the small town in front of the famous Watzmann east wall. Do not necessarily drive to St. Bartholomä, but to "Salet" and hike to "Saletalm", to the "Obersee" and the "Fischunkelalm". A fantastic landscape and views await you there.
On the way back we meet a very friendly and musical tourist group from Asia, who has already noticed us singing from a distance. Many thanks to you for the nice conversation and the brilliant performance!
Then we leave the Königssee and drive to Ramsau, to a fairytale and incredible natural spectacle: The magic forest!
In the magic forest, the idea of a pristine mountain forest has become reality. Created thousands of years ago by a dramatic rockfall, nature has formed a wildly romantic ideal of a landscape out of huge boulders.
The Hintersee was created by this rockfall, the flowing water has since sought its way through the magic forest and cut deep through the rocks into the ground. The magic forest is located between the Hintersee and the Marxenklamm and is traversed by the River "Ramsauer Ache".
Truly an unforgettable experience!
Back to Schönau am Königssee, we visit the "Pizzeria Salento" in the evening. We ate there very well! A fantastic first day comes to an end and we are looking forward to the second one. What we experience then is almost unbeatable! You may be curious ... That's it. See you next time ... Bye
