Absolutely love how Dave dies any time he tries to farm 1-ups, no matter how foolproof the setup.
I find it to be the most frustrating thing in the Daveverse.
The Gombrat level was guaranteed 1ups because of the no-put-foot condition, but he farmed anyway

He's mechanically inconsistent, which is why he will never get that far on difficult challenges with limited attempts

When the level at 21:43 he didn't bother to check to see if any of the power ups were progressive to fire flowers when he had a mushroom which obviously woulda made fighting the last four 'Piranha Plants' (because he misspoke when he meant Hammer Bros) a lot easier.
Then in the pow puzzle level could he not just have put the muncher pow down beneath the door, grabbed the second pow, jumped UP OFF OF THE muncher pow to the platform above while holding the other pow, dropped it on the mole, boom, all 3 pows easy peasy...
Edit: OMG! He even jumped up to the platform after he wasted the one pow on the conveyer and killed the mole the other way! >.< AAAAGH! Dave, yer 17.4 IQ is showing~ XP
Edit 2: Ah, finally after 84 years, ONE ETERNITY LATER at 29:00 he figured it out lol

I wouldn’t say the Mario Galaxy soundtrack is overrated, I’d say it is overplayed on levels. It gets old pretty fast.

what's the point of that stupid donut block over the goal on that last level? That does NOT need to be there. If that stays there, at least increase the time limit.
They never need to be there. It's just to make the timer harder.
May all your levels be dark, upside-down water levels with wind and hidden invisible key blocks.

Mario Galaxy ost overrated? Actually blasphemous, its so good on so many levels, its not even the orchestral stuff (which is AMAZING), but also the synth-y ost, which are a complete delight. Honestly THE best Mario OST and one ot Nintendo's best OSTs in general.

I see your "Mario Galaxy's soundtrack is overrated" and raise you "Only Gusty Garden's soundtrack is overrated", because its the only Galaxy song people ever talk about, and there's infinitely better music in both games. Gusty Garden's music is good, but it is also overrated.

DGR's played so much nauseating garbage platformer levels designed to piss you off that I feel like eventually he'll be turned off the genre as a whole. He'll get burnt out. He should take a break and play something good.
