How far out can you see impacts on steel with your Tract Toric HD 30 mm. Not sure if that’s the scope on this video but I’m referring to the scope you had on your 7 SAUM at 2200 yards video. Considering purchasing one just thought I’d ask. Thanks for the video!
I just starting working up loads for my new custom build with a Bartlein 1-9 twist 22 inch barrel. Looking for the 140-162 grain class bullets. Have you testing anything lighter? I was using 6.5 StaBall and didnt have good results. I switched up to H4350 to give it a go, but haven't made it out to the range yet.
Nice to see you back man! Why didn’t you use one of your own barrels though? I’m really close to building a 6mm prc varmint rig to run 80gr eld-vt’s out of. Overbore as hell but you gotta play with different things😂
I’m not affiliated with preferred anymore that is specifically why I’m not using their barrels anymore and will not on future projects.
Did you consider doing the barrel as an 08AI?

I think you meant to say "shots 6 through 10", not 5 through 10.
Those speeds seem really low. Do you think you will try anything in the 140-150gr class?
Definitely I have lots of hunting bullets in that class to play with
I'm considering doing 7mm08 ai for my cheater gun 22 inch faxon barrel added with dead air 3 prong should be hot rod
Truthfully at that barrel length with the AI it could be beaten pretty easily I’m assuming you’re limited by your action bolt face and want it maneuverable but I don’t think you’ll be as much of a hot rod as you may think
@@WestDesertShooter no just love 7mm-08 ai, I normally run shorter barrels my 308 trainer is 18.5 inches. 22. inches I would go with 20 just want to do something different I'm really tall 6'5 so love short guns not a real comp gun. More fun gun my comp barrel will be 26 inches slinging 162 eldx and 140 Berger at crack head speeds the 22 inch barrel is for me in woods.

@@WestDesertShooter will use in 22 inch mostly 120-145 grain 284 Sam's thing I had in hunting rifle I sold. I am dumb 😭

I'm waiting for 7prcw brass. I don't shoot F class so there isnt a need tospend all that time necking up brass. Figuring the ins and outs of the new hype is way too much without a valid use case.
@@somebrains5431 I was going to get a 6.5prc but after seen eric's video I forced myself to wait it out because I have a feeling there will be factory support don't he 7-6.5 soon since he has such a big influence.
With respect, you have left the realm of 'interesting' and dived into the pit of idiotic detail, quoting MOAs to two decimal points with 5 shots which any statisticain will tell you is 'garbage in.....'
