I saw this movie at the cinema 2 days ago... It's my favourite one! I also saw the lighting the details and the how good is the movie and that's why it's amazing!
I love this movie but know nothing of “bokehs” or lighting issues. It’s fascinating to see that there’s so much meticulous work, even in an animated film, that you can do to make it look a certain way.
You know, in reality there's more work in something Animated, rather than in something Live Action, only that practically everyone thinks the opposite simply because Animation is really criminally misunderstood and underrated 😉👍 P.S.: I love so much too this movie, in fact it's my 2nd favourite movie *EVER* ✨💙
So what camera did they use.........? I'll see myself out. Hahaha but really very interesting! It's incredible how serious digital filmmaking has been able to become because of the technology emulating light and lensing in an organic way.
I just saw yesterday. Oh yes i know how amazing the production was. The color, the rig, the animation skill are amazing. And that leg character (dad) ? Really basic and straight to jugular. 😂😂😂 Can't wait to get my students to see that. It's a must do assignment for beginners. But still here are my opinion as a fan, an audience : Honestly, it feels not pixar's. I don't feel the midas touch.

Bokeh is how the blurred background looks specifically lights. The lighting is t make the character look nice and pleasing to the eye.
