Reacting to Bobby McFerrin - Improvisation - Day of Song (First Time Hearing)

Don't Worry Be Happy..was the first Bobby McFerrin Song I ever heard. Little did I know he does way more than recorded music. He has a unique talent. This is what I learned watching his performance live at the Day of Song, which was a recommendation - thank you so much. Do you agree that he uses a lot of modern Beatbox elements here?

One thing that you might have missed is that it isn't just the typical tapping of the chest. He is using four separate types of taps to produce four separate results. If you play close attention, sometimes he taps with his palm/wrist, sometimes his finger tips like a drum, sometimes whole hand, and on occasion his only taps himself with just the thumb. He also taps in slightly different areas, which also affects the sounds.
