I came to see what this vinyl is because I've never seen this version of this vinyl, and honestly, i fell in love with the channel. Keep up the great work you put in these videos, man. I love the vibe and information you give out.
I think when they announced the 2022 Vinyl Club, the target date for the first release was mid to late April. Considering this hit at the end of March, I think it's safe to say they got all the kinks worked out of it. Can't wait for #2 to hit my mailbox, and Kirk's solo EP to drop on Record Store Day.
Wow very cool! It's great indeed to have this piece of modern history on vinyl. I also like the design with the thumbnails in the style of Zoom meetings, with the initials of the 4 guys! So, who claimed the download code here??
Hey is the Would cover exactly the same length as the performance on Mopop? Like, an abridged version of the song? Met singing my favorite AIC song. Ugh. So sad I missed out on the vinyl club.
One of the reasons I bought it was it originally said you’d get extra goodies like used strings or picks and cool stuff like that but that never happened for some reason
I do wonder if Metallica would ever consider doing an acoustic album of their songs.... it would be an interesting option to the Symphony and Covers albums they've done.
@@brianharley6452 It could be in that format or just a traditional "acoustic" album from their catalog or new tunes. Then again, if Korn can do an Unplugged...why not Metallica? And one of the best shows on MTV of that era. The work with the Symphony they've done could probably be applied.

@@brianharley6452 Agreed, when it was first announced I was like "I don't know..." then someone let me borrow the cd for the first one and I took a listen... and then I was like.. "this works really well actually...." and when the 2nd one got announced I put that on preorder ASAP.

What’s everyone’s feelings on how much you pay for the Metallica vinyl club vs. what you get in return- as a Metallica fan? Is it worth it?
It’s absolutely worth it. It’s basically $17 a record for stuff that you couldn’t get on vinyl otherwise.
It's the shipping to Europe and fuckin brexit that puts the cost up! Didn't stop me though.

I guess Metallica can only press 12” at their plant. That’s why they switched from 45 for the club.
The last run were also pressed at their plant.
