quick tip for anyone watching this with not enough agility: you can log after climbing up, rejoin, climb, and keep doing that until you get up to the top of whatever you're trying to climb
Is it possible to get here without an Oath? Like is your friend able to knock you down and take you there and then they can drop you once they get there?
I haven't tried that at all but you and your friend could just headboost up there pretty easily. This method is just if ur playin solo and needa get up there.

Tip: Bring a barrel and do a barrel jump at the part where u need a lot of agility.

For some reason when I try to wash my face in the fountain it says "the shrine hums with power. power you do not yet wield" anyone know why?
you need to wash your face in the lightkeeper temple and have an oath (oathless or blindseer)

Do you just need to get on the island to have it unlocked or do you have to get your face washed?
If you want to get the mantras you'll need to get your face washed but you can get to the island itself without washing your face
