Thank you Mr Fremer for all the knowledge you have taught me. I started listening to records 10 years ago, when i was 32. Everything I've learned has been from you. I hope to one day have lunch with you. Which cartridge is better, Shelter 501mk3 or Dynavector 20x2?
It's all about component matching. Not to speak for Mr. Fremer but I think he would reply that the tonearm, plinth, and the electronics (phono preamp, preamp, power amp and even speakers and interconnects all matter. It's all about system synergy. 🎵
"Zounds! What Sounds!" is a fantastic collaboration between bandleader Dean Elloit and a cartoon sound effects foley artist. I learned about it through Weird Al Yankovic and hunted down a copy on reel to reel. Highly recommended!
Michael, regardless of all you've said on this video, my music sounds excellent using my decade-old AT150mlx MM cart. Just saying. Carry on.EDIT: bought the cart in 2008.
Michael, the reason most CDs sound like crap is the 'louding' and compression/clipping that 'they've' done to the music. Other than that, CD doesn't sound as good as hi-rez because there's less there. Not counting the dynamic range crap.
There's no copyright issue you can play those albums fine without any copyright I checked and even if there was copyright it goes to the artist anyway so there's no problem playing it just push me off from watching goodbye to pretentious. why is he saying its a cavitation machine!!!! when it's a Sonic cleaner. you couldn't get any more potential than that.
Well it is NOT stupid. But what is is doing it at a historical radio society. What Fremster should be doing is presenting at junior high and high schools.

serious mistake storing anything on old school hard drives because of oxidation, the disks are metal ☹

That is true.
Cavitation is what the ultrasonic cleaner does
All that bother just to listen to pops and clicks. Sad!
Yes. And live concerts? You go to all that trouble and coughs, sneezes & squeaky seats. Sad.
and yet here you are 🤷🏻♂️
🙄🧐🤤...
Vinyl is stupid! No one in that room is under 65.
Lol, Ya it was quite the Q-Tip convention. Sorry Boomers. (still funny though)

@@petekutheis3822 No, it's not stupid but I picture a 2 year old making the declaration & stomping a foot. lol, it caught my funny-bone.
@@petekutheis3822 Schools? Lol, that'd be an even funnier video 👍.
@@petekutheis3822I do that too
