This is a great video and shows how to use excel and what you need to do. The only thing wrong with it is your conclusion. You said that we accept the null hypothesis. WE NEVER ACCEPT THE NULL HYPOTHESIS. We can either reject the null hypothesis or fail to reject the null hypothesis. So make sure you don't accept it. But great video!
It was already installed and by my understanding has been a part of the MS Excel pack since Excel 2003 - have you indeed tried searching for the function as I demonstrate in the video?
I heard on another tutorial that the TDIST.2T function must be used to calculate the exact p value in a two tailed test. I have been trying this but it seems to produce less significant results the more difference there is between the two data sets! Can anyone elaborate on this?
I have the 2011 version, I just downloaded STAT PLUS, but it doesn't display it as well as it would have on windows (as an example). I don't get any t-test options when I search 't' or 't-test' at the functions page. I tried using the help system, however it was useless. Did you manually add that function or was it already installed?

Thanks, Jordan!
Shouldn't you say "fail to reject the null hypothesis" instead of "accept the null hypothesis?"
omg, this was probably the best video i've seen explaining this matter
Awesome! This helped me finish the last bit of my presentation due tomorrow
Very helpful for me. Thank you so much for your contribution.
This really helped with the analysis of my data set, thanks so much!
Short and simple. Thank you.
what statistical test should I do if I only have 5 repeats?
best video i have seen for explaining this thanks
Thank you that was very clear and understandable
THANK YOU… for being clear, concise and using a mac!
What if we want our significance value to be .01 instead of .05?
Very useful! Thanks!

Do you have the latest version of Excel? I assume you've tried searching for the function as the video shows.
Awesome! Thank you

Is this a 'paired samples t-test', or an 'independent samples t-test'? Thank you!
