After searching for almost one hour, I can say you are the only one of all youtubers to perfectly explain the correlation. Thank you!
+Alessio Fioravanti
Thanks, Alessio - very glad to hear you found the video to be helpful!
Dude. I LOVE YOU. You saved me from our thesis which our defense is tomorrow. THANKYOU
Thank you for both the part 1 and part 2. I am completing my doctorate and was having an issue working out the formulas by hand. I totally forgot about the simplicity of the correlation formula and the ability to use the regression formula for the correlation validity. I appreciate it.
I was going to learn how to calculate p value in Epi Info when I came across this video. I had no idea I could do this using Excel. Thank you very much!!
Thank you! I've been looking for this for more than an hour now. I'm so happy
You have been the most helpful, my own professor couldn't explain this as good as you. i'm so grateful Got 100 on the homework and quiz!!!!
Excellent. I was struggling on the analysis part and this is the best one I came across. Three videos (install data analysis, correlation and P value)together is a complete package. Thanks a lot. It helped in my project.
Great, it seems is the only place you can find how to calculate the p-value for a correlation :) nice !! thanks
man I think your video is so much better than how i received my research method training!! and yours is also very practical!
i'm so glad I didnt need to learn spss to do statistics work. there should be a love button. kudos an thanks!!
Thanks for the help, it made my life so much simpler!
Thank you so much for this video!! Extremely helpful.
I’ve taken elementary statistics, and statistical method’s for psychology and this short video gave me more understanding of statistical significance than both of those courses.
This was very helpful. Thank you!
Thanks too you
, this video helps me a lot. I am about to cry when my minitab broke down. more power to you!
thanks for the help! came in at a perfect time!
I am very grateful to you for the simple and useful explanation, thank you
These videos really helped me, thank you
Thanks for this man, major help
Thank you so much! After hours of searching I find this useful video.
extremely helpful!!!!! literally saved me while i was doing a lab report.
Perfectly explain! thanks so much! :)
Adding to the other comments, your explanations were perfect, simple enough for me to understand, and thank you so much for taking the time to post this for us non-loving-statistical-analysis-assignments. You made my day!!!!! By the way, where do you teach? Blue
The explanation is very clear and understandable.
Great video!Thanks a lot!
Man, what a video! I owe my manuscript to you.
So helpful! Excel 2016; 2013 onwards actually, doesn’t display data analysis. You have to add it in. Go on file, options then add ins, then click data analysis. Then it appears and you can follow these clear helpful steps!
you have just saved my dissertation! thank you
Very good explanation and easily understood!!!
Thanks for this great video, I now learned how to do correlation and regression...
you explain it well. thank you sir
Super super thank you! I was able to survived my Stat requirements!
+Julie-Ann Tacgos
Thanks for letting me know, Julie-Ann!
Thanks man! it helps a lot!
thank you sooo much took me ages to find this
Your video is so helpful thank you!!!
A nice video. Very useful
Amazing !!!!! Thanks for your lucid explanation !!!!!!!!!! Really it made my day...
I understand this better than may stat class. 😊 Thank you
You are the best for anlysis
Very helpful -- thanks!
excelente video, me sirvió montones, gracias!
Great job. thank you.
Because of your video I was able to complete my assignment.Just got saved 😌
Nicely explained. Thanks
Wow! I get it! Well done!
You are a savior man thanks so much
You bet, Ryan! Glad to hear it helped!
Very Helpful Video!
nice video and very helpful with it`s explnation, thank u
awesome! you make it easier than my professor
Wonderful video, thanks
Life saver, ty a lot.
Thanks a lot, this saves me from fiddling with SPSS where I have no clue what to do and how it works. I do have a question though: what about having 3 or 4 data columns that need the same treatment? Could you do a video about that too? Thanks, or at least how do I extract p and r from that.
Can't explain how much this video has helped! for someone who doesn't usually use excel and statistics is not my strong point, this has potentially saved me from making huge mistakes in my psychology assessment!!
Shakiera Anderson - Roscoe
Very glad to hear it helped, Shakiera. Thanks for letting me know!
that was so helpful. I love u
Saved my life
Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Thank you so much! Your video is very helpful for my lab report.
Thanks for the feedback, Larisa!
Thank you so much!
Cool ! Thanks!
brilliant teacher
Thanks! helped me a lot!
+Aixa I. Rodriguez
My pleasure, Aixa. Glad to hear it helped!
Good video. Thank you
thank you sir!
tq so much! this tutorial really helped me!
My pleasure, Maisarah. I'm glad to hear it helped out!
You are best 👍
what about when using 3 variables , is the multiple R still the same as the correlation r ?
Thanks for the help, you sound like Kevin Spacey btw
Thank you so much sir ...
Thank you kind sir
Great video you saved me a ton of work! :)
Is a t-value the same thing as a t-statistic?
You are awesome.
Great videos! Is there a way to find/search for sequential numbers in one column?
Great explanation...however, how did you determine the Alpha of .05?
Thank you.
Very helpful
Excellent
thanks so much
Very good! Thank you!
+Sandra Böddeker
My pleasure, Sandra. Thanks for letting me know!
ME HA SERVIDO MUCHO... GRACIAS
BOLO AMON
Gracias, Bolo. Me alegra que poder ayudar!
Lovely
awesome
Could I use this approach in calculating the p-value for a 2-sample, unequal variance t-test?
My data is grouped e.g 150-200, 201-300, 301-400 etc. the second set is a response to a likert scale question eg 2,4,1, I understand spearman correlation or mann-whitney u test is appropriate but how do I do this on excel. I really need help on this. thanks
great
I'm wondering how comes of the alpha = 0.05? is it a fixed value?
thanls
Hi, I tried the regression model with three variables but I am not sure how to interpret the results. I get different significance F on the ANOVA table in comparison with the third table were I get two new p-values. If anybody could help on regression with more than 2 variables please do! Thank you for the video.
Very helpful video. Thank you!
Here you used Df =n-2 . Is this the rule always when we are considering correlation and regression?
Also, when do we consider it as n-1?
Based on my knowledge and understanding (i hope this would help) n-1 is only used if you're referring to the population of your respondents. n-2 is for the sample of the population of your respondents.
I have a question. When doing Pearson's correlation I get a negative value, but with the regression it is positive. Does this influence the assumption?
Thanks for this both (part 1 and 2) videos...it's very clear and informative.
same here sir, have you got the answer for this question?
Hi, could you please explain how to adjust the values in a data sample to have a standard p-value (p< 0.05)? Thanks
Bruh I can't find my Data Analysis Tab
Regression tools are not included in Excel 2011 for Mac! Too bad!
Can one use this method to generate the p-value of a cubic regression?
hey, what if you don't have the same number of variables ? thank's a lot
Hi!
Please does anyone know a function to calculate the khi value ?
Thank
Sir,I want to ask a think that, when I used more than 3 parameters for all subcategories in my study, and subjects are more than 100, with five subcategories, like; 20,20,20,20,20........,then which type of test or statistics I should have to apply?,,,,,
how to do this calculation in excel 2016, because there is no data analysis function in 2016 version. plz elp.
What if you have more than 2 variables? How can you generate a P-value? Regression only has two inputs :(
How do you get 0.05 in Alpha?
After following the same steps P-value for one of my variables is found to be 3.68219E-59. How do I convert it to get the value in decimal.? And please, let me know what does this value indicate!
