That's not a reason. An hybrid has a lot of problems and it's completely wrong especially since they don't have the same first scientific name. The crested gecko is a Correlophus and the chahoua is a Mniarogekko.
The larger "holes" in the sides of the containers are covered by screening. I feel like some people were under the impression that they are wide open holes because you can't really see the screening in the vid.

I've got an adult male crested gecko and he won't eat a bug for the life of him. I have roaches, meal worms, and Crickets. Nothing entices him like the Pangaea. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

What you're talking about would be if a "flame" ciliatus was bred with a "pinstripe" ciliatus. That is fine and is done all the time. It is like a person with blonde hair having a baby with someone with brown hair. They are the same SPECIES. What you're talking about is breeding a dog with a fox, which is not OK for you to do simply for your own enjoyment or bragging rights, like the producer of this video has done. That's not ethical and certainly not something you want to take to the intertronz and brag about. Generally, Tiki has some great information, but this is really unethical in the eyes of most breeders/enthusiasts. Sad to see you go this route, Tiki.
