As a Katrina survivor, hearing him say that lie about Cat 5s again and again is sickening.
Katrina wasn't Category 5 when it hit Louisiana (it was Category 3). It was devastating, but never hit the USA as a Category 5. Facts are still important.

Yeah I concur, it has been a long painful 2 weeks of reruns to try to feel like maybe we can bail enough water out of this canoe of a country to stay afloat after mango mussolini gets done with his term. I think we need him to right the wrongs trump is doing. And I haven't seen any Democrats running who have detailed plans for the country. And yes, I would benefit from erasing student loan debt. I have a little over $20K left, and I'm 55 and disabled. But having to fight the state I live in for benefits. My Army and Navy vet life partner committed suicide Dec of 2017, after hospitalizing himself in the state mental hospital and getting on medication that really worked for him. The VA refused to pay for them and changed him to cheaper meds and 2 months later he was dead. He worked for our county reaching out to the veterans and ppl who had mental illness he was plastering the towns with posters and leaflets about town hall meetings to destigmatize mental illness. His last Town Hall he spoke about suicide. He told ppl not to give up because there's hope out there. Then his meds were changed and he disappeared and hundreds of ppl were looking for him. And a 15 year old girl out walking her dog in an area the City has stopped maintaining tripped over a rope that the extra was laying next to the concrete upright on the old abandoned bridge. She leaned out over the bridge and saw his body. And Luckily she had a cell phone, I wouldn't have wanted her to face that alone anymore than she had to. And I know my husband wouldn't either. I found out on Facebook. 6 Ppl had been trying to call me thru messenger and my old laptop has no working sound so I couldn't answer but I pretty much knew that he was dead from the ppl who were calling. Then someone typed it out in messenger and I didn't even know I could make a sound like that. Then my best friend told me my daughter and her husband were on the way. Just hold on they were hurrying. In a year almost everyone has stopped talking about him. They don't want to see me cry, but dammit I need to talk about him. And some things we will never have answers for. But the reason he's dead is the VA Cutting Costs. That man gave this country 10 years. He deserved better.

Back in the olden days of my extreme youth, at least both Parties nominated Presidential candidates who were capable of doing the job.
It's been downhill for the Republicans lately, but Trump really is the last gasp of the GOP. Going with an ignorant grifter who is a Russian puppet is a mistake I don't think they can recover from.
I wonder if the Republicans are all blackmailed in Congress, Putin must have found significant dirt on both individuals and the Party itself. Maybe proof that the Republicans have been selectively tampering with machine votes since 2004, when voters started complaining about seeing their votes for Kerry switching to Bush before they left the booth and exit polls stopped being accurate. The switching of votes from Democrat to Republican was still happening even in the 2018 midterms and finally it's becoming officially acknowledged. I don't think these are accidental glitches.
And 2020 will be worse unless we use readable paper ballots and have mandatory hand recounts. The machines cannot be trusted. And now the Russians have been working to maintain their puppet Trump, so it's not just homegrown hackers in the mix. Democrats have to win big enough to outrun the hackers (as Obama did and as Hillary Clinton almost did, winning the popular vote by a large margin and losing the electoral vote by such a slim margin that it was well within machine error). This is not how our system is supposed to work.
