Absolutely brilliant! The depth of storytelling, combined with the rich Aztec mythology, is utterly enthralling. You’ve managed to make an ancient tale not only educational but deeply moving. Kudos for such an engaging and meaningful presentation

well About 8,300 to 7,700 years ago the great glacial dam breaks in north america releasing a mass amount of water if fit with the timeline of all the stories, around that time the ice just lifted up in it's buoyancy and the water flowed.

It's basically the origin story to the reason there was a flood

What are your sources? As far as I’ve learned, The third sun ended in a rain of fire at the hand of Tlaloc. The fourth sun ended in a flood of blood from Chalchiuhtlicue’s tears. This is when they changed to fish. Not the third sun and not at the hand of Quetzalcoatl.
Because during the fifth sun Quetzalcoatl retrieved the bones of the humans you bring them back.
I mean I know the myths vary, but this is very different from my readings and I have read a couple variations. So I’d love to see your source.

Thats what I recall as well, including something to do with his wife leaving him for someone else for some reason.

Wasn't the Humans lack of gratitude, the plot of the Age of the 2nd Sun? 🌞 Also; like your telling of the age of the 2ND Sun, we have another catastrophe caused by a force unrelated to the God causing it 😵‍💫.. it should be Tlaloc causing the flood no?🤔 Is there another version of this Myth I'm missing??? 🧐

Didn't Tezcatlipoca kidnapped Tlaloc's wife and this was the reason why Tlaloc destroyed the world of the 3rd Sun?

I'm an archaeologist and I've seen the story of the Pol Pol Vuh carved into the bedrock of an island in the middle of Lake Nicaragua. It's one of the coolest things I've eveer seen in my life!!! If your not familiar with the Pol Pol Vuh, I can't recommend it enough. You can read the English translation in a couple of hours.
