What seems impressive to me is you can smell the cactus flowers like that. They must be potent. The dryness must help deliver smell as well. I'm a California Sprout and haven't spent much time going east of Reno, Nevada.
Wow. I took my sister one in Alabama a few years ago. The first couple of years, it didn't grow very much. Now, five years later, it has covered about 36 ft. on her wire fence . She interweaves new growth in and out of the wire. She has to keep it cut back to keep it from taking over. lol
I planted two around 15 years ago and kept them trimmed. If I would have been smart and done what Tombstone did I have no doubt my entire back yard would be shaded by those bushes. They’re awesome.
We planted a yellow lady banks right beside our house on a trellis. Then I saw a video about this giant rose just a few months later and realized I may have made a mistake putting it that close to our house. 10 years later I’ve learned that this rose can really take a brutal trimming and if anything comes back better for it every year. Such a beautiful bloomer, just covered in yellow every spring.
I planted 6 in my yard not knowing that I had laid a time bomb. First I pulled out 3. I left three on the South side of my house. It grew up onto the roof and into my attic. It bloomed bright yellow. People drove down the street to see this magnificent creature. After 10 years, I had to remove them. They will go over your house and the weight is tremendous. It's the most beautiful rose I've ever seen. No thorns. No mildew. No bugs. If you have a deep yard, plant it along the fence line and support as you go. Fabulous.
My backyard has a very large rose bush as well! definitely not this size, but it is the size of a smaller tree. has some gorgeous white flowers at the moment.
Wow, I had no idea they could get that big If and when it dies, that'll be some seriously prized exotic lumber. I'd love to get my hands on a piece of that, for carving purposes. But I hope it never dies. It's just too amazing
If they buried tons of poopies in the ground and that rose has found the cache then it's going to be living for quite a while. It's more likely some 3rd party catastrophe will occur before it starts to decline. Freak!, I'm already mad at humanity for destroying this sexy babe. She's eye candy for sursies 🤤😅
I want to see this in person so bad! I live near Augusta GA, and at the augusta market they have some huge ones. I didn't know they could get so big. I have a yellow one and love it but was amazed at how big the ones at the Market were, so I had to look into the biggest one and found the "Shady Lady" this is amazing! 132 years... wow... amazing! If you can't get to AZ, but are close to GA in the spring I highly recommend you stopping by the Augusta Market to see the beauty she has to offer.
Roses are so cool. A beautiful plant that is tough as nails. I stopped caring for my rose about 2 years after I bought it but almost a decade later it lives on and still pops out flowers when it's ready. I might have to start taking care of it soon as it is starting to look rough and only popping one flower out if it blooms. But that sucker is tough
I don't give mine much care, but I do dead head the roses as they die (here and there) and more buds will come within a couple of weeks -- truly some of my favorites -- I just bought a Dolly Parton Hybrid tea rose bush today and she's just beautiful (already)!!
Ok I'll see ya then if we make it that far we'll be two of the oldest people that ever lived by then I'm sixty three now so I'll be over two hundred years old by then hope to see you then Ralph of louisville
I bet it smells good. I have on m yard I was thinking that I would let it grow as tall as it want to grow, tha how I found beautiful biggest rosebush video.
Jesus loves you and died for our sins. The bible says unless a man be born again he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Jesus wants us to stop walking in the lust of the flesh and start walking in the spirit which is peace, love, chastity, kindness, gentleness, love etc. Please get to know Jesus this life is temporary and no one know their last breath and Jesus has paid the wage of sin which is death. I pray those who are blind can see in Jesus name amen.
Guys I think it is a typo, I do this too often when typing and hit send before I realize I forgot a word. The first and last thing said doesn't flow with the middle part of the statement, and that is a dead giveaway. No pun intended.
Took my elderly aunt there back in 2018. She still talks about it to this day. Tombstone was amazing all around.
Arizona in spring is the best ever, the sweet smell of all desert flowering trees in the air, all cactus blooms, citrus blooms. It’s amazing.

Check back with me in 132 years. Just planted two in my backyard.

It's so boring that Tombstone is now just a place for larpers to shoot fake pistols at one another for a boomer audience. America, you lost your mojo.
Awesome,I hope it dies, that someone will keep the tradition 🌹🌹🌹
Deidre Harris why do you wish a wonder of a nature perrishes? How ignorant.
You hope it dies? Wow. Nasty person.
