Bad weather with violent storms and hail in Piedmont on Wednesday, causing havoc in several areas of the provinces of Vercelli, Asti, Biella and the capital Turin.
In Borgosesia, Vercelli, heavy hail caused heavy flooding along the streets. Montemagno area of Asti was hit by a severe storm with hail and gusts of up to 109 km/h. In Chiavazza, in the province of Biella, a storm and heavy rain hit the area. Heavy hail also fell in Carignano, Turin.
