A little tip, if you use a hair dryer to melt the wax in you get a cleaner look and feel but you do need to use more wax. Once melted, pop it in the freezer for a day or so and rock.
Proper technique of waxing fabric includes using a heat source to impregnate the fibers with the wax. The technique used in this video accomplishes a superficial layer of wax without the benefits of properly waxed fabric.
if you put an old but clean towel over the fabric and iron it on high steam stetting it sets the wax into the fabric...also fyi you can get pure bees wax unless you are marketing the "Fabric Wax"you can also paint melted wax on then iron it with a towel over it as well and the denim will be waterproof and the wax will last even if you wash the denim in cold and hang dry the jeans

Few questions: 1) Aren't you supposed to blow dry it so it can sink into the denim? 2) Can you do more than one coat of wax? Are there any negatives to doing that? 3) Can you wash and dry these jeans in the laundry?
I've seen people blow dry it or just let it cure over a few days. I just let it do its thing haha. You can do more than one coat for sure! Turn them inside out if you wash them. I dont wash denim though, well maybe once every 8 months

My dad washed a pair of wax jeans I own and now the wax and color have faded. Be honest, will simply buying this bar and applying it to my jeans work 100%?

u really don’t have to wash ur waxed jeans, since they repel most of the dirt/smell. worst case scenario, put them in the freezer or cold wash them, without letting them soak for too long.

You have to melt the wax into the cotton, then do multiple layers repeatedly for it to look correctly. You are not suppose to just put wax and go.
